Her familiar is a cranky and very old elf called Edgar insists that she has been cursed. Then her mate and Dragon Guardsman Liam hears and it did not go well. She just needs to face facts that she is never going to heal if she doesn't get his help. Can they save Christmas and cure Ella?
This was a sweet story if you can get used to the way that the Brown witches talk. I liked the premise of the story and it was a nice and short Christmas story. You really need to have read the previous book in the series in order to understand who people are and how Ella might have been injured.
