Alpha Dire Wolf Derrick Randis looking to end their nomadic lives and so they follow a lead and set up in a small town called Blue Creek. Bobcat shifter Lucy Corwyn is driving through Blue Creek when she is stranded by an unreliable car without any money to pay for anything. Although bobcats don't normally mix with other species, she is forced to find a job and so applies for one at the new biker bar in town called Serious Moonlight, and so she is stunned when the sexy Alpha is her mate. Completely out of her comfort zone, Lucy is certainly not going to make it easy for him. If Derrick is going to catch his cat he is going to have to shake that sass.
This was a very enjoyable story where Lucy made it very hard for Derrick to make headway with her. After a while, it got to be a little silly, and so I was relieved when it changed and everything became more acceptable to them both. I enjoyed some of the drama in the story and the events that happened. Well written and easy to understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.
