She does know how to tell the truth, but she is so determined to keep a wall around her heart to protect herself that she has to lie constantly. After an unsubtle hint from Gerri Wilder, wolf shifter Jason Black leaves his home area to find his mate. When he finds the hottest and most alluring woman she has ever seen who was made just for him, things don't go so well as she appears to hate him on sight. The question is, does she really hate him?
This was a really nice story. I have to say that I found Micah one of the most irritating people and her constant lying was just too much in the end. Part of me is surprised that the author managed to write a character such as her because it must have been very difficult. I loved Jason who seemed to be a really nice guy. Well written and enjoyable, it was easy to read and understand everything (even if I didn't like Micah). Contains some sexual content.
