Her Cougar Sunrise by Moxie North
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Tessa Blackwood was really angry - she thought she was in a relationship that was going somewhere when the guy she was dating left her a brief voicemail breaking up with her saying he had met a shifter and they were mates. In a very drunken state, she called Gerri Wilder at the Paranormal Dating Agency berating shifters for ruining her life! Fate (with a little help from Gerri) sent her to Texas to work in a bar for the weekend under the guise of earning extra money she could use to look after her sick mother. Cougar shifter Levi Nash was really not interested in finding a mate assuming it would either happen or not - especially as he had a secret that he was not prepared to share with anyone (especially his own sister). However, his little sister signed him up with Gerri Wilder and the PDA which he tolerated in order to make her happy. It only took a beer and the new waitress and his local bar to completely change his destiny. However, convincing Tessa that mates can and do happen in the blink of an eye is the only way they can both have a happy future.
This was a sweet story that had a few curveballs in the events that happened as part of events that happened to them both. I loved the way that Levi was having to work overtime in order to persuade Tessa and just how against the whole concept she was. I loved the way he moved everything (and everyone) in order for them to be together. Well written, it was easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
