I'm fine with the basic story of the shifter and a fated mate, but all of the family politics and bickering was a bit much in this story as was some of the drama in the Platinum Club. I was close to not finishing it and just giving in but in the end, I skipped a chunk of chapters and finished it. I won't try the next book in the series. Contains explicit sexual content.
