Review: Dragon's Destiny by Miranda Martin 3 of 5 stars

Dragon's Destiny (Red Planet Dragons of Tajss #20)

Dragon's Destiny by Miranda Martin
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Khabri is the leader of the Order and since the human females coming was revealed to him he knows that the female who is his mate and therefore his destiny is somewhere on Tajss. When he finds her his dragon roars and there is no mistaking the connection. However, Anna has other ideas and does not believe in destiny. The Invaders are threatening all of Tajss and he knows he needs to survive the oncoming war if he has any chance of winning Anna's heart. Anna was in the group who left the dome with Geshom believing his lies. Their village was overrun by four armed invaders and so those who are left have been forced to flee towards to domed city. They are struggling when Khabri appears with his men telling Anna that she is his fated mate and that they will make beautiful babies. Anna rejects that idea even though he is kind and protective - can she move past her beliefs and trust him with her heart?

Gosh - so much happened in this story - it was, therefore, a bit disjointed in places as it covered a huge amount of story - it was the relationship between Khabri and Anna, but also there were a few aspects of the relationship between Calista and Ladon, a few more details of the Order, and a little of the way that Rosalind lead the population of the domed city. It certainly ended at a point that makes me wonder what they are going to do next. Easy to read and understand. Contains some sexual content.
