Review: No Time to Scrooge by Milly Taiden 5 of 5 stars

No Time to Scrooge (Paranormal Dating Agency, #36)

No Time to Scrooge by Milly Taiden
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Charlie Zann is a struggling single mother who is thrilled when Gerri Wilder approaches her with a new job opportunity - then she meets her new boss and realises two things - he is way too hot and appears to be way too into her. Having made many relationship mistakes in the past she is determined to just focus on her daughter and not pay attention to the gorgeous, kind generous and sexy Preston is. Preston Cole is a strong and demanding dragon shifter who has lived a long life without ever meeting his mate, so when he lays eyes on Charlie he knew she was his. Used to handling hostile corporate takeovers he now realises that he needs to handle both her and her daughter with care - especially as they have a hidden danger associated with them. He tries to romance her with hot cocoa and ice skating but there is trouble brewing for her ex. Preston will not let anything bad happen to his mate and her daughter - but there is a thin line between protective and controlling and he needs to be careful or he'll lose the only family he has ever wanted.

I really enjoyed this festive story where the PDA's Gerri Wilder sprinkles some of her magic on Charlie and Preston. I loved the way he did his best to toe the line between overprotective and controlling and the moment he talks to daughter Heaven about something is really quite beautiful. A lovely festive story with drama and danger but more importantly love and understanding. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.

I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
