Zmaj warrior Jormund is half-wild and lost to his inner beast. Then he sees human Delilah and just knows that no other male can care for her as well as he can, and so determines to just kidnap her and hope that in time she can see that they are fated to be together. Delilah is resigned to a life alone as there are no more single Zmaj warriors left. She should be content as she has her friends, their children and the Tribe to care for.
I enjoyed this story with a different twist as Jormund was unresponsive to start with but Delilah was able eventually to get through to him and get him talking. I also loved the role that the children had in getting Hormund accepted by the wider community of Zmaj. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
