Lily had fallen for the ghosts of murdered gangsters who had once been her imaginary friends which she admits is unusual. But they are now back devoted to her and very much real. However, their violence is not enough to bring down the powerful man who hurt her little sister Marisol. So she decides to take matters into her own hands even though she does not yet have a better grip on her own marsh magic. The guys are also stirring up trouble in their search for their original murderers as well as the pasts of the hosts they have taken over - something that has arrived with guns blazing. Lily still has a gap in her memories and he knows that her past holds secrets that might shatter every hope she has of a happily ever after
This was definitely a dramatic story that had me hooked as Lily tried to find out what she could about the man who featured so much in her memories around her sister. I loved the relationship she had with the gangsters and the way they were so protective and caring of her. The powerful man is definitely evil and I have no idea how they are going to defeat him. It was easy to get swept away in the story and to become fully invested in Lily and her men. Easy to read, feel and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
