Review: Daddy's Pride 2026 by M.A. Innes by A.W. Scott by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Daddy's Pride 2026

Daddy's Pride 2026 by M.A. Innes by A.W. Scott by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Daddy vs The Invaders by M.A. Innes

Rhodes needs help as his noisy, nosy and interfering family are due at his home for a BBQ. He runs next door desperate for help from his neighbour Knightly who saves the day protecting him by helping to hide his little things, setting everything up and protecting Rhodes. Knightly has never been a Daddy before yet is a natural, and now he has been claimed and owned by Rhodes.

This was a very sweet story and they were perfect for each other. I loved the focus on consent and limits.

After Hours Daddy A.W. Scott

Konnor starts a new job in Vegas where on his first day he is grabbed from behind in a hug and he screams in fright. The guy apologised and they could feel a connection. Dancer Brett normally wouldn't get involved with a colleague but Konnor is worth the exception. Brett is a Daddy looking for a boy and Konnor is open to that as he loves being called a pretty boy.

I loved this sweet story with an instalove feel.

Only You by Colette Davidson

Tyler is terrified of flying but is trying to get to New York to go to Pride. Emmet sees and like the Daddy he is, does everything that he can to help Tyler get on and through the flight. At the end of the flight Emmet gives Tyler his business card and when he calls him they arranged to meet and for Emmet becomes his Daddy. They start a romance full of dates and special moments that continued after Tyler has to fly home.

Wow this was such a sweet and romantic story you will not be able to stop yourself from smiling.

These stories that I reviewed are MM with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Falling for my Ex's Twin by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Falling for my Ex's Twin

Falling for my Ex's Twin by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Flynn’s fresh start as a farmer takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Jimmy, his ex‑husband’s twin — the man he always assumed despised him. After a drunken one‑night stand leaves them both shaken, Flynn realises Jimmy isn’t the cold shadow of his brother but someone caring, protective, and genuinely attuned to him. As they reconnect, Flynn is torn between the possibility of real love and the fear of hurting the man he once married. Their story follows a farmer healing from a toxic past and the childhood friend who shows him he deserves to come first.

I loved that Flynn’s journey was incredibly moving, especially as he slowly recognises that his marriage wasn’t just unhappy — it was coercive and damaging. Watching him unlearn that harm with Jimmy’s steady support was at the heart of the story. Jimmy shows him, gently and consistently, that he deserves love, care, and to be put first for once in his life. Their emotions are written with such clarity that it’s easy to feel every moment of doubt, hope, and growing affection. The shift from pain to genuine connection is beautifully handled, making their love story both healing and deeply satisfying. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: A Daddy for Christmas 3: Rowan by Colette Davison 3 of 5 stars

A Daddy for Christmas 3: Rowan

A Daddy for Christmas 3: Rowan by Colette Davison
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Damon wants nothing to do with Christmas, but when his brother disappears on a last‑minute holiday and leaves him to run their business, he’s forced into the chaos he hoped to avoid. The only small perk is borrowing his brother’s luxury car — and the relentlessly cheerful driver, Rowan, whose optimism slowly chips away at Damon’s grumpy exterior. When a sudden snowstorm leaves them stranded together with no rescue in sight, Damon can’t let Rowan freeze. As they huddle for warmth, Damon discovers a side of Rowan that reveals they have far more in common than he ever imagined. Their boss–employee dynamic blurs, replaced by unexpected chemistry and a growing Daddy/little tension neither of them can ignore. One night in a snowed‑in car changes everything — but once the storm passes, Damon must decide whether what sparked between them is just a moment… or something he wants to claim for good.

I enjoyed this story with the undercurrent of joy as a form of intimacy — Rowan’s optimism becomes a gentle invitation for Damon to feel again. I also liked that the Daddy/little dynamic emerged not from kink alone, but from emotional compatibility — Damon’s protectiveness met Rowan’s need for safety and warmth. I also liked that their intimacy bloomed in a moment of crisis when pretenses melted and truth surfaced. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Falling for the Professor by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Falling for the Professor

Falling for the Professor by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When student Angus offers himself as a distraction to heartbroken professor Richard Jones, neither expects the connection to go beyond one night. But desire proves persistent—and so does the risk. Richard’s recent betrayal has left him raw, and Angus’s boldness offers a balm. Yet their growing intimacy is shadowed by academic boundaries and the ticking clock of graduation. As stolen moments turn into something deeper, they must navigate secrecy, temptation, and the possibility that what began as comfort might be the start of something real.

I really enjoyed this story with the two men who started with a one night stand but that grew into something much more. I think that the forbidden nature of their relationship fuelled both tension and tenderness. While the physical attraction between them both was off the chart, their settings for their trysts ramped up the attraction and intensity of their relationship. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

My Not So Purrfect Angel

My Not So Purrfect Angel by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This whimsical and tender story follows Leo as he navigates an unexpected and extraordinary bond with Kai, their cat-turned-angel. While Kai’s endearing chaos and innocence challenge Leo’s cautious nature, the two embark on a journey of trust, vulnerability, and love. Attending a wedding together as an unconventional duo, Leo learns to let go of his fears and embrace the unpredictable beauty of life and relationships. It’s a heartwarming tale of growth, trust, and the magic of connection.

I loved this story with the two men who had such a great connection which easily became love. There were also some funny moments which made me smile. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Review: Best Wrong Thing by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Best Wrong Thing

Best Wrong Thing by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What do you do when your dad tells you he’s married the woman he had an affair with? Go out and get drunk. The cute guy behind the bar chats him up. One thing leads to another, and they end up in bed together, only for him to discover he’s the last person on earth he should be fooling around with. The more time he spend with Archer, the deeper he falls for him. When everyone around us will judge us for being together, can he be brave enough to admit he’s the best wrong thing to ever happen to him?I

This was a sweet story of love and how when sometimes you find the right person then you have to go for it no matter what some people might say. I loved their relationship and the support that they got from their mothers. Lots of passion and angst in this story which was easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.

Limitless Love: A Polyamorous Charity Anthology by Colette Davison by Aurora Crane by Elouise East

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great value collection of short stories that show that love sometimes needs more than two people.

The Two That Got Away by Aurora Crane

Keenan doesn't think that he deserves love but Drew and Evan show him how much that isn't true. A short and very sweet short story.

Triple XP by Colette Davison

I loved that this story was so romantic but also showed that love came in three. A great showcase of this author's writing style.

What We Wished Four by Elouise East

Four best friends with the aid of some clear communication prove that they were always meant to be together. Typical of this author's style.

Review: Don't Hold Back by Colette Davison 5 of 5 stars

Don't Hold Back (Chasing Gold #2)

Don't Hold Back by Colette Davison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Garrett has spent years training in gymnastics, but the pressure has taken its toll and despite qualifying for the Olympics, failing to medal at the World Championships is all he can think about. Anger is taking control and strangling his ability to focus on training, when his main rival, Team USA gymnast, Ryder Anderson, arrives at the gym to train alongside him. Garrett wants to hate Ryder, but he can’t ignore his rival’s sunshine personality and handsome looks. Discovering Ryder is fighting a battle against himself, Garrett’s anger turns to admiration and then love. Dating his rival isn’t against the rules, but that doesn’t make it a good idea. Can they make a relationship work despite the pressure of the Olympics, or will they crack under the strain?

I adored these two men who both had demons to fight one with food and the other with anger. Thankfully they were able to get help while also focusing on their gymnastics. Both had coaches who were there for all of their needs and although their main passion was gymnastics they were also passionate about each other. I loved their relationship and that they had such levels of trust in each other. Lots of emotions and feelings in this book. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Run Free by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Run Free

Run Free by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jax is a fox shifter, Hugo is human, and their love is forbidden. They’ve spent the last seven years on the streets, relying on no one but each other. When they collide with alpha wolf shifter and barrister Dominic, they realise something has always been missing. Jax is keen to get to know the older man, but Hugo resists fate, worrying that, as a human, there will be no room for him. The only way they can be free to love each other is to escape the UK, but will Dominic leave his life behind to find a home with two younger men?

I enjoyed this story with the alternate universe which was a twist on the omegaverse where certain combinations of people were banned from being with others. I loved the pure love between Jax and Hugo and how Hugo did everything he could to protect Jax while putting himself in danger. Dominic was mostly self-assured and strong although he did initially doubt the bond between the three of them. The world was well-described, the characters made believable and their thoughts and emotions told beliveably. This was an MMM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

Review: Hold Me Up by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Hold Me Up (Chasing Gold, #1)

Hold Me Up by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Reece has one goal: to compete in the Olympic Games. With the gymnastics World Championships looming, his dream is one step closer to becoming a reality. When his childhood sweetheart, Alex, walks back into his life unexpectedly, Reece’s world is turned upside down. Alex was the boy who inexplicably pushed him away and broke his heart; the boy he still loves. When the truth behind their break-up is revealed, Reece wants to hold Alex up and give him the strength to heal. But can Reece be Alex’s rock, and remain focused on his training, or will his Olympic dreams suffer in the process?

This was an interesting story with the contrast of the focus needed to compete at the top level of a sport and the events of the past and how they impacted Alex (and by extension Reece). Alex was so brave helped by Reece's love and belief in him which added to the feel-good part of this story. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content

Review: Unashamedly Us by Colette Davison 5 of 5 stars

Unashamedly Us (Offbeat Shifters, #4)

Unashamedly Us by Colette Davison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Charlie and Austin are separated while he is on tour and their love for each other grows even though it is not public knowledge. Austin is terrified that when it is out the media will destroy Charlie's career just like they did his. Telling the world is one of many obstacles they have to navigate. The only thing Austin is sure of is that they'll find their way together.

This was a very emotional story as we had epilepsy, telling everyone about their relationship and starting a family together. All of it was done sensitively and with discussion and emotions as those involved worked their way through the events. It was easy to be involved in their story and to be rooting for them and their relationship. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with mpreg.

Review: Unapologetically Me by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Unapologetically Me (Offbeat Shifters, #3)

Unapologetically Me by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Austin Steele is Charlie's idol but also his friend's Dad, nineteen years his senior and an omega just like him. Austin still nurses old wounds and after a one-night stand between them it becomes something more but the problem is Austin wants their relationship a secret and has Charlie as a secret reason why others think he is a divo.

I loved this story with lots of sensitive writing around Austin's issues and Charlie's epilepsy which was factually and emotionally well-written. There was so much passion between these two men in what was an omegaverse equivalent of a gay relationship with the pairing of two omegas. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse.

Review: Openly Yours by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Openly Yours

Openly Yours by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

When pop star and monkey shifter Jesse and his bodyguard tiger shifter Issac fell in love it was easy, but now the tour is over, he has a new record label and they need to start working through those lists of the things they want to do together. But trying to start a family they have to deal with tragedy which could either bring them closer together or drive them apart.

I loved this continuation of book one in the series where we got to know both men and their relationship in more detail. The infertility story was a major part of this and it was heartbreaking to read of their crushing disappointments. family, support from family and finding alternative sources of family and joy were central. An emotional read that will make you sad at times but also fill you with joy. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse.

Review: Secretly Mine by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Secretly Mine (Offbeat Shifters, #1)

Secretly Mine by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha tiger shifter Issac had given up a lucrative job at the stock exchange and was being paid as a bodyguard to musician Jesse Steele, to keep him safe and protect his image. Jessie is an omega monkey shifter who is beautiful inside and out and very down to earth. The proximity means that they fall in love with each other. Someone discovering their tryst becomes the least of our worries when it becomes clear Jesse has a stalker. Can Issac love Jesse and protect him, or will his emotions cloud his judgement and put him in danger?

I loved this story with the easy way that they could not help but love each other. The stalker's identity was a surprise and the ending was suitably dramatic. I loved the image of the tiger running through the trees with the monkey shifter riding on his back which was very cute. I loved Issac's family. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse.

Review: Recalling My Demon by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

Recalling My Demon (Possessive Love)

Recalling My Demon by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ex-priest Ian has retrained as a nurse and when going to visit Martha an eighty-year-old patient at Nethermire House he is warned that it is haunted and to keep his visit as short as possible. She has regular visits from her great-nephew Brin who is chaotic and bratty which draws Ian's Daddy to him even though he is a demon. When he calls Ian Daddy, he wants to protect him, take care of him, and call him his. But when he gets summoned to hell, their happiness is shattered. Can he recall him to his side, or will he lose him forever?

I enjoyed this story with the bratty young demon and the Daddy who was there to care for him and protect him whenever it was needed. I loved the twist that Ian was an ex-priest. This was a fun read and I liked that Brin was so sassy as that put him in good stead when he was taken to hell. I loved Martha and how hard she tried to protect Brin from the same fate as his father. Easy to read, feel and understand. This an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Crazy Little Thing Cold Love (Destination Daddies Season Two)

Crazy Little Thing Cold Love by Colette Davison
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Emotionally scarred army veteran Jude was medically discharged from the army and so filled his life with a dead-end job and meaningless hook-ups. Kasper sees the world uniquely and doesn't expect to win a Cuffd Destinations holiday and meet a fun guy called Jude who is convinced he isn't a Daddy. He just has to prove him wrong. Set in the destination with summer snow can these two men learn to keep each other warm?

I enjoyed this story with the tormented man who desperately needed someone to care for him and the bubbly boy who had an unusual skill and was determined to prove to Jude that he was the Daddy that he needed. I loved the way that Kasper was able to handle Jude's PTSD incidents so well and that they did not affect or limit their relationship significantly. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: The Matchmakers: A True Colors Charity Anthology by Gianni Holmes by Colette Davison 4 of 5 stars

The Matchmakers: A True Colors Charity Anthology

The Matchmakers: A True Colors Charity Anthology by Gianni Holmes by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A great value anthology of short stories around the theme of matchmaking as in all of these instalove style stories someone played matchmaker.

Bachelor Number One by Isla Olsen - 4* Sutton is a gay football player who is not out of the closet yet. To raise funds for a charity his last straight appearance is to be the bachelor on a reality show and date a number of women. This goes wrong when he falls for Blair the host of the programme. Lots of attraction and spice.

Ewe and Me by Collette Davison - 4* Country vet Robyn is new and works for farmer George's sister. She sets them up using a couple of ruses so that they have a date. Grumpy/sunshine with some passion too.

The Perfect Match by EM Denning - 3* Cody is in love with his best friend Justin. Justin wants Cody to be a matchmaker for him to find his love so he sets up a fake date and so when the guy doesn't show Cody takes him out instead. A sweet best friends-to-lovers story.

Always the Matchmaker by Ashlynn Mills - 3* Julian is a fake boyfriend hired by Emmett's brother for a wedding but he meets the man of his dreams and he just happens to be Emmett. They do have to come clean as there are confused people around them.

Three Lost Now Found by Michelle Dare - 4* Danny (Diesel) and Hale (Sierra) are strippers in Untouchable. Although they love each other they are not sexually compatible so stay in the friend zone. Simon is attracted to them both and so the matchmaker in this story arranges for them to date so they can become a throuple.

Getting It Right by RS McKenzie - 3* Hudson is new to town and set up by a co-worker with her best friend Callum. I found this story a little strange but did enjoy it.

Strike a Match by T.H. Compton - 4* Richard owns a bowling alley and steps in last minute for his friend when one person doesn't show to a matchmaking event. Artist Leo and Richard hit is off even though they have an age gap. A nice story.

Game Set Match by B. Harmony - 5* Bates and Ansen are college roommates who can't see that they are perfect together. Their roommates set them up and finally, it becomes clear to them that they are each other's perfect match. A sweet friends-to-lovers story.

Years later Maddix is different and wants to apologise and have a second chance. This was a sweet story that will make you cry at times. Definitely a great example of this author's writing.

Review: Greeking Out by Colette Davison 3 of 5 stars

Greeking Out (Destination Daddies)

Greeking Out by Colette Davison
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Apollo and Troy have been messaging each other on the Cuffd app for a year now and a Destinations trip to Crete has been announced. Troy is a real geek about Greek myths and stories and so even though he is scared of flying Apollo gives him the help and confidence to go on the trip. Apollo is an adult film star and Troy is the only meaningful relationship he has ever had. Troy is in the UK and Apollo is in the US, to claim his geek boy Apollo is going to have to pull out all of the stops and put his heart on the line.

I loved this sweet story of Apollo and Troy woven into tales of Greek Gods and the stories around them. Their relationship was so sweet and the friends had definitely morphed into a Daddy and boy even though they weren't labelled like that. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.
