Dragon: Bridge & Sword: The Final War Dragon: Bridge & Sword: The Final War by JC Andrijeski
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Allie and Revik are running with the army they have left to stay away from Shadow. Revik then comes up with the kind of plan that is just so crazy it might work but it has the potential to destroy everything they hold dear including the potential to sacrifice himself to keep the rest of his family alive. Allie tries to hunt Shadow’s network while forging a cross-race alliance but is also struggling with an infiltrator in her leadership team. When a new intermediary appears called Dragon, Allie realises not only is he broken but he is the most dangerous seer she has ever encountered. He is also set on hunting down Revik so she realises she needs to somehow protect him.

Wow – plots within plots in this story as Allie and Revik do everything they can to protect their family, friends and the world as a whole. There were so many twists and turns that you need to concentrate in order to appreciate the artistry of the story development. Needless to say there is danger, drama and excitement in large amounts throughout the story. The build up to the end was definitely dramatic and I was reading faster and faster needing to know what would happen next. I loved the ending and have suspicions of what is going to happen in the next book in the series and so can’t wait to find out if I guessed right. Well written, very intense and incredibly enjoyable.
