Beyond the Black Mist by C.L. Bright by Cassandra Lawson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Juliet has fought her destiny but is finally ready to take her place as the future leader of the Heathergate Refuge but there is one thing that matters more - finding Dante. With the help of some new allies, there are trying to make their way back to each other but their enemies are closing in - can they find their happiness and can Juliet make it back to her home in time to stop her treacherous stepmother?
This was full of twists, turns, crosses and doublecrosses as Juliet and Dante finally sorted out the reasons why they were apart and why they really needed to be together in the future (no matter what anyone else said). I loved the final showdown and how some of those events were a complete surprise to both the characters as well as the reader. Well written and easy to read/understand. Contains some sexual content. I can't wait to read the next book in the series now.
