The God of War Tyr is trying to save the life of the US President's daughter Marion Ravenscroft in order to avert a war after Loki's wife stumbled on a plot to kidnap her but he is very out of the practice of dealing with a human woman - especially as this one seems to be doing a striptease. He feels strangely drawn to her as if they already knew each other which seems strange as she appears to be determined to not do what he tells her to do. What should have been a simple job now appears to be anything but Marion is determined not to be saved and Tyr is close to losing his cool. Can they find a way to work together and avert the potential war?
I loved this story which was a great read full of drama and danger whether that was between the bad guys and Tyr as he was trying to keep Marion safe from them or just the fireworks between Tyr and Marion themselves. I loved the way we got to know more about Tyr as the story progressed and that he and Marion were able to compromise before finding a deep and unswayable trust in and love for each other. Well written and easy to read I just smiled as I read more of this great series. I loved that they ended up together and I am sure they will create fireworks together for years to come. Contains some explicit sexual content.
