The Alien's Revenge by Ella Maven
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Miranda is on an alien planet after being abducted by a different set of aliens. The other women may have Stockholm Syndrome but she is determined not to fall for one of them and pump out alien babies. Fiercely independent, one day her independent exploration takes her into the hands of a savage horned alien who barely speaks but has no intention of letting her go. Bizarrely, his great survival skills turn her on! Draxionan Warrior Drak was exiled and all his cloudy mind can think about is revenge as he focuses on existing as a beast and shadow of the warrior he once was. That is until he sees a human female struggling for her life and suddenly he is no longer thinking of revenge but providing for her by feeding her and keeping her safe. But the one who was responsible of exciting him is not done and this time he is not just fighting hard to reclaim his place but also his female.
I really enjoyed this story where we saw a softer and more human side of Miranda as well as the determined side of her fighting for justice. I loved the way that they both cared for each other and also stood up for each other so that they truly were a partnership of equals where she was the brains and he was the brawn. Both were not interested in finding a mate and yet both were struck by the same gift as the others. Well written, easy to read and understand I loved their relationship. Contains some explicit sexual content.
