Cari having made the break from a long term abusive relationship wants to find a date for her high school reunion and after being pointed to the Paranormal Dating Agency she hopes Mrs Wilder can hook her up with someone. What she didn't expect was her date doing something naughty in the woods. Liam has been in love with curvy Ceri since they were in high school and he has never got over her. Then one day he finds her standing on his doorstep as a meeting Chief, friends and the PDA have brought them together again. Their chemistry is off the charts but her past is catching up with her - will Liam still get the second chance with Ceri that they both want and deserve?
This was a sweet novella-length story that gave them both a chance to move on from the past and have the HEA that they both deserved - together. I loved how strong Ceri had become since leaving her ex and how confident that made her which meant that it really was the right time for her to move on. Contains explicit sexual content and themes of abuse of a female. Easy to read and understand.
