Review: Chained Soul by Eva Chase 5 of 5 stars

Chained Soul (Bound to the Fae Book 8)Chained Soul by Eva Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After Talia's return back to her mates from the Murk there was a lot of joy (some unexpected) but some warnings of danger that is still to come. So as they prepare for the inevitable war with enemies of the Mists a new ally arrives was a new revelation that is far far worse than they could ever have imagined. It seems that Talia has not completely escaped the Murk King as his magic lurks inside her and will use her to torment the fae that she loves in any way that he can. However, the Murk Kings right-hand man may hold the key to saving them all - but before that, both he and her mates will need to find a way to overcome centuries of and mistrust. Blood needs to be shed and lives lost - the question is will one of those be Talia?

Wow - I didn't see that twist coming but having read the book I can completely see the Murk King doing that and enjoying every single moment. Talia and her mates worked tirelessly to try and get around the magic even though it did lead to failure I feel it did enhance their understanding of each other and what their magic was like. Definitely a book full of drama and danger in places as well as pain and explicit sexual content. WARNING - this book does contain a part of the storyline around the loss of a child or baby and so be careful if it will disturb you in any way. Well written and easy to feel and understand. Now I'm wondering what will happen next.
