Nash first appeared in the NOLA Defiance MC series by this author when his stepbrothers Hurricane and Bayou helped him clear his name. Now we get his story from when his Dad walked out on his Mum and sister to be with his other family and he had to step up and be the man, to when he left his Dad's company after concluding that he would never be able to be respected there. Now he needs to hold an event to get a key customer to move from his Dad's company to his own and so he engages top event coordinator Briana Cox to organise it. They seem to not be able to stand each other but they also have chemistry off the charts. Can they work everything out and have a future together?
I really enjoyed this story with the determined Nash, and the determined Briana and how they found a compromise that they could live with. They definitely had off-the-charts chemistry and it almost felt as if you were being burnt as you read it. There were a few dramatic moments and throughout it all, Nash single-mindedly worked toward his goals of gaining the business and the woman. In the NOLA Defiance MC books, Nash was portrayed as a bit of a jackass and so it was great to get to know him and be able to understand why he was the way he is. Easy to read, feel and understand I enjoyed this story. Contains mature content.
