Review: Maid For The Alien General by Athena Storm 3 of 5 stars

Maid For The Alien General (Intergalactic Fated Mates #6)

Maid For The Alien General by Athena Storm
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Wyla has a mission to get close to the High Lord by caring for his children as their nanny in order to steal secrets to help her town which all live in abject poverty. The children's older brother Javvik seems to be perfect for her to get access to more but it is not easy to avoid falling for him as he has a warrior's body and the fingers of a poet. Then he tells her that they are fated mates - something that is not in her plan to get the information and leave. Then additional information turns it all on its head. Can they all have a happy ever after?

I enjoyed this story with the spy angle, then sneaking around, and her choice of distraction for the kids was just crazy (but so her). I loved the way that their relationship was built and the way that the story ended. The relationship between the two adults and the children was special and it was heartening to see that they could stay together as a family unit. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.
