When Scott wakes up from a coma he is convinced that the ex-love of his life Naira is there but when he wakes properly she is not there - did he dream it? Naira had hoped that Scott would have protested her decision some time ago, but he didn't and now he finds he cannot get past it. The marriage that Naira had agreed to was to appease her father but she is no longer married and had come running when Terk called and said he needed her. Scott's priority is getting back to his team, but their enemies are going for everything that the team holds dear including Naira and so he might have to move forward with their conversations about the past and their future.
Wow - two very stubborn people who had to be forced almost continually in order to give them the space and time to talk about the past, clear the air and then discuss their feelings. There were definitely times when I wished I could just knock their heads together and make them stop and think clearly! Plenty of danger and drama in this book and Naira was definitely very direct, clear and took no prisoners when it came to giving out her opinions, thoughts and feelings. Easy to read and understand, this was a great instalment in the series. Contains a little mature content.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
