Review: Tucker's Fall by E.M. Gayle 3 of 5 stars

Tucker's Fall (Purgatory Masters, #1)

Tucker's Fall by E.M. Gayle
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Professor Maggie Cisco has an obsession with her darker cravings and that has in the past landed her in jail, the divorce courts and headlines of more newspapers than she could imagine. It is all being blamed on a bestselling book that she has actually never read. So she returns home to lick her wounds and reconsider her future thinking that her only solution is a tell-all memoir. Then a storm throws in her path rich, handsome and intense Tucker Lewis. Tucker remembers a kiss he once shared with Maggie and as he is not a stranger to scandal, he is not going to let public opinion keep him from what he wants. He will take her on a sexual journey that will open her eyes to what only his seduction will give her.

I really enjoyed this story with the complex Maggie who wanted to analyse everything and the dominant Tucker who wanted to control and protect her. It was lovely to experience her introduction to a BDSM type relationship and how she was actually more submissive than she realised as it was not exactly how she imagined or understood it to be. I loved that there was plenty of room for love in that kind of relationship and that Tucker expressed many of his emotions via his painting. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content and content of a BDSM like nature.
