Wolf shifter and scientist Kyle Grayson might be the pack Alpha, but he is happy in his lab alone. His sister forces him to take a holiday at the Breezeway resort after Gerri Wilder suggested it. He reluctantly agrees only intending to just sit in his room and work. Human Jenna Levine’s family business is not what it used to be after her step-father took over running it. She is the last dance professional in the resort and when a grumpy visitor cancels a private lesson with her Jenna goes right to his room in order to lead him down to the dance floor only to be taken aback at just how tall, dark and delicious he is! Kyle can't believe that she is his mate but realises that fighting fate is useless - besides they have far worse things to worry about as there is an evil plot to ruin her life. Can they uncover all the lies and dance through it all in order to save the business and themselves and come out of the other end happily together as mates?
I enjoyed this story with the evil stepfather, the plot to discredit Jenna and steal her business and the dynamics as he got completely on board with having a mate as well as her accepting what he is and the mating side of things. I enjoyed the way that the story was concluded and the way that the bad guys were eventually defeated and brought to justice. Easy to read and understand.
