However, they both fall in love with each other but Penny panics and runs. Can Vyker get her back without incident?

This book was full of far too much salacious sex which was too prominent and explicit which then detracted from the story. Hidden there was a story of compromise, uncertainty, love, determination and a HEA - but we had to wade through all of the strenuous sex scenes to get there. It was easy to read but not so easy to understand as the real story was hidden. Contains a great deal of mature content which many people will be turned off by.

Alundra is a human and a Princess. He is determined not to be tamed and not to be made civilised no matter how curvy and pretty she is. Then she uses her most deadly weapon - she coos and kisses him on his nose and so his heart melts and the terror becomes the terrier.

I found this story hard as Zuvok was so insufferable but then Alundra wasn't much different as she was determined to have her way. So apart from pride, a few complications and sex I felt like not much else happened. It was an easy and quick read plus it didn't need me to concentrate much on reading it. Easy to understand. Contains mature content.

Vera Kronushas had a long criminal career and so with over twenty counts of grand larceny and fraud is shackled and waiting for her transport to a brutal prison planet. Instead through a lucky break, she gets the chance to switch her ID and instead wakes up on a planet as a promised Companion to the most brilliant scientist in the Alliance. Zerberu is working on a propulsion system and has no work-life balance and so his bosses decided that he needs a Companion to give him some balance. Vera has no idea how to cook Alzhon food, no idea about their customs, and is sassy, independent and fiery - nothing like a real Companion. But she has a great figure and even though Zerberu should be an easy mark, what he actually does is steal her heart.

I enjoyed this book which was a classic switched identity which then goes wrong. In the meantime, they both had a great deal of fun together but the inevitable happened and the mistake is discovered. We then have a set of events that would be perfect for a slapstick comedy mixed in with a very clever guy who uses what he can to get what he wants. I enjoyed the writing which was clear and easy to understand. Contains mature content as they were definitely compatible physically.

Human Sorsha lives in a cave surviving and with very little memory of anything before as she is suffering from memory loss. Kiphian Talan is the son of a Merchant King and when out hunting he stumbles upon Sorsha hunting for food and then together they find orphan human children Detto and Epona. They soon start to feel like a family unit. Talan decides to take them back home with him to get Detto some medical attention but his father does not like humans and it goes badly.

I enjoyed this fated mate story although it appears as though Talan was nieve and that it was only when he grew a backbone that everything progressed rapidly. I enjoyed that he came to blows with his father and that they were able to find a way to be together. I did feel that the story could have appreciated a bit more detail but it was an ok read that was clear and easy to understand. Contains some mature content.

But something goes wrong and the ship she was travelling on is destroyed. Vakutan warrior Duric is stranded on a remote moon with Daphne and they have to survive the worst of the Ataxian Coalition until help arrives to collect them. As they have adventures and save each other's lives, they also find that they struggle to keep apart from each other - the question is whether it is just physical or if love plays a part?

I quite liked this story which had the drama of their crash, their survival, their burgeoning relationship and their conversation into something much more. I liked the ending where he made sure that they were together although I did find it a little disturbing that he made some assumptions that she would agree to what he had decided. I did find his crash onto the moon very reckless and confusing how the loss of his ship and crew did not count against him. Easy to read and contains mature content.

Commander Yaal crashes his ship on a planet populated by humans and when they leave to go and source part of the critical repairs needed the leader's daughter Leyla accompanies them as a liaison. He might have cybernetic parts but she fills his thoughts and he just cannot resist her. They have their ups and downs but through it all, he knows that she is his and he will do everything to protect her - his mate.

This was an ok story but was a little disjointed at times. I enjoyed some aspects like the final battle, the way she had saved them even though they has suspected her of being a traitor. I was pleased to see that they were together although I wasn't sure that their relationship was formalised just that they loved each other. Contains mature content.

Can she get to the bottom of the situation before it is too late and can she keep her heart safe from this gorgeous man?

I liked some parts of the story, and some just did not make any sense at all. My first point is the book title - how is an accountant known as a nanny? The other was how stupid and nieve Ferryn was - surely the fact that the house was falling apart, there was no food, and yet the brother did not also live in abject poverty not tell him something was sorely amiss? I guess my final confusion with this entire book was that there was no mention of his heated spine or any of the other usual signs that he had found his fated mate. However, I did enjoy reading it and there were several dramatic moments in the story. Contains a little mature content.

Human Izzy crash lands on a hidden Kiphian city in the clouds, meets scientist Talok and then after a coincidental meeting has 2 orphan children to look after too. So Talok takes her and the children to his house to keep them safe. After getting the children clothes, food and clean they are put to bed. Another glaring observation is that she is his mate and therefore they belong together. With all the prejudice, corruption, threats and inequalities in his home city, all Izzy cares about is her flying machine, getting it fixed and leaving it all behind. However, now they are a family of four Talok decides that he wants them all to be together and to leave as they are his home and not the place.

A sweet story of a fated mate and the shameful events in the cloud city. Easy to read and understand. I loved the way that they were able to become a catalyst for positive change in the city after so much corruption and prejudice.

Kiphian Lord Avin is so demanding that he just can't keep a manservant. Human Dhalea is facing starvation for both herself and her two smaller brothers and so she works out a disguise to appear as a man and gets the job working for Lord Alvin. It's not going to be sustainable, but if she only stays for a month she will have earned enough money to cover them for the winter. But it is not easy - she has to hide her hair, use cardboard under her shirt to flatten herself, and use a rolled hand towel in her trousers. But Lord Avin is gorgeous and she is struggling to dress him each day and not touch him. Her only saving grace is that he has no idea she is a woman. She can tell he is attracted to her but he is confused as he senses his fated mate. So she is going to have to "man up" and tell him the truth.

Some of this story was quite good, but some of it was definitely in the realms of farce and Lord Alvin was just a spoiled brat with a mother who was just so OTT in her fawning of the potential Kiphian bride for him that I just stopped paying attention to her. I did, however, like Dhalea and her two brothers. Easy to read and understand. Contains a little mature content.

Human Maribel's brother died at a protest when Kiphian soldiers opened fire on the protestors. As her brother's Kipian partner had died she has done her best to care for their two children Nortin and Amara in her slum home. Ryker is a Kipian soldier who has been desperately tracking down his sister's children and has finally found them in Maribel's care. He wants to offer them a good home with food and education something she cannot deny them but she refuses to let them go without her. So she agrees to be their Nanny - something that Ryker is fine with but not so acceptable to his mother. There is an undeniable attraction between Ryker and Maribel and when he reveals that she is his fated mate she is ecstatic - right up until it becomes apparent that the sadness in his soul is due to him being one of the soldiers who shot her brother - can they get over that and have a HEA?

I enjoyed the story with the connections between them being his sister and her brother's death. Ignoring the fated mate side of things and their mutual attraction. It was also good to see how the grandmother's prejudice against humans was eventually conquered. The children were a delight and their personalities were clear and easy to detect. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

Even though his people have oppressed humans for centuries her compassion (and maybe fate) insists that she help him. The children have grown on her and they both look at each other as if they desperately want to have a future together, but first, they need to change the present. Can they find a way to save the humans and keep their new family together?

This was a sweet story that showed that both sides were not perfect but that together they could find a solution and have the kind of HEA that they craved and deserved. I loved that children were important to both races and were central to their hopes and dreams. I was thrilled that they found their HEA although I do wonder if there is anything that could (or should) have been some about the vicious creatures that lived in the lake and could attack either race. Easy to read and understand. Contains a little mature content.

The children's older brother Javvik seems to be perfect for her to get access to more but it is not easy to avoid falling for him as he has a warrior's body and the fingers of a poet. Then he tells her that they are fated mates - something that is not in her plan to get the information and leave. Then additional information turns it all on its head. Can they all have a happy ever after?

I enjoyed this story with the spy angle, then sneaking around, and her choice of distraction for the kids was just crazy (but so her). I loved the way that their relationship was built and the way that the story ended. The relationship between the two adults and the children was special and it was heartening to see that they could stay together as a family unit. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

I enjoyed this quick read with the treacherous regent and the protective Nanny who meets her Prince and over time they learn to accept the fated mate bond while keeping everyone safe. I loved the feisty Princesses which must have partially been done to Bianca's careful stewardship of them as well as Prince Lorvic and his doubts before he was about to become more self-assured. Easy to read and understand all their emotions, thoughts and actions. Contains a little mature content.

But it seems that fate has an agenda and no matter how much they fight it, she is not just the maid as they are made for each other and are fated mates.

I enjoyed this story with the complicated politics, the snippets of happy family life, and the eventual conclusion. I loved the way that the children were as central to the story as they could be and that they were so determined to be big and tough. It was easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

Human Erisa has been working for Kiphian nobility educating their children when she gets a job as the Nanny (or maid as he keeps calling it) to Prince Elvion's youngest sister, the wild Lyrelle. As Erisa starts to reduce some of Lyrelle's behaviour, she also appears to educate Elvion on spending a little time with his sister in order to foster a better relationship with her. Through all of that, the two adults feel a draw to each other and as hard as they fight it, it becomes clear that they are fated mates - currently a rare phenomenon in Kiphia.

I enjoyed this story with the adventures that wild Lyrelle led them (especially Erisa) on as well as the developing attraction between them. It was a fun light read that was enjoyable. Easy to read and understand it also gave some clues as to the restrictions of Kiphian society (especially for women). Contains some mature content.

I enjoyed this story which has a sassy woman who charms and overcomes the reservations of an obstinate man as they are at sea having adventures while they both start to fall for each other. I loved the touch of the two orphans who were stowaways as well as their bad family members. I was overjoyed when Zenir got the stick out of his backside and came to the correct conclusion. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

But as fated mates, their love is strong enough to make sure that no one will succeed.

I enjoyed this story although it did become a little monotonous at times. I was thrilled when everything worked out for them and I'm sure the result of all that treasury was actually a solution that was far superior to what any of them imagined. That had a great relationship and so it was great to experience the start of that. Easy to read. Contains some mature content.

What follows are her befriending and teaching the children and Kravath spending time with them and being fascinated with her. It turns out they are fated mates but it is not easy and they all face challenges and adjustments in order to find a way forward.

It was a pleasant read but it was a bit fast and their relationship was more than a little odd at the start as he was definitely a bully who was used to having his way. Thankfully by the end, they had found a way forward and I believe she would make him a better king due to his lack of tension and anger. I did enjoy it but it was a little uncomfortable in places. Easy to understand. I loved the three children and their relationship with both of the adults. Contains some mature content.

However, chemistry sizzles between them and he obviously wants her - but she is not willing to give in to some kind of casual thing - she has the children to think of.

I enjoyed this story which had a nice twist with the children, the Droken male, the human female, the various politics and at the centre of it all, the love story between two people. Easy to read and understand, it was a fun read and interesting to experience yet more life across another world with their various factions and politics. Contains some mature content.

In order to achieve that she needs to get close to Lord Izzy who is the Lord Custodian of Catturn. However, to get close to him she needs to take care of his kids as their nanny which is hard work. Then she finds herself staring at him, wishing they were a family together before he tells her that she is his mate. How can she steal from him now - the problem is if she doesn't her people will die. Is there any solution that can be found to enable them all to have the HEA they deserve?

I enjoyed this story with the plight of a settlement resting on one thief and how Lord Izzy was such a kind man even if he had no idea of what was happening outside of his current book. I liked the treachery angles and the quick thinking involved to get them all out of the situation in the end. Easy to read and understand. It was also easy to become invested in the story.
