Trident Alliance soldier Zuvok the Terror lives for the battle and the fight - nothing else interests him. When he goes too far his commander sends him a new foe - a bride. Alundra is a human and a Princess. He is determined not to be tamed and not to be made civilised no matter how curvy and pretty she is. Then she uses her most deadly weapon - she coos and kisses him on his nose and so his heart melts and the terror becomes the terrier.
I found this story hard as Zuvok was so insufferable but then Alundra wasn't much different as she was determined to have her way. So apart from pride, a few complications and sex I felt like not much else happened. It was an easy and quick read plus it didn't need me to concentrate much on reading it. Easy to understand. Contains mature content.
