Charlie was used to fending for herself but was desperate, homeless and alone. Currently living in her car, she had nothing and no one. Then she takes a temporary job as a cook at the Sanctuary Ranch. All men there are dominant, and the women are cared for, cherished and protected, but there are also rules and consequences. The man acting as her guardian there is also her boss plus the sexiest and most dominant man she has ever met. Clint likes to be in control and doesn't like surprises which makes him blunt, gruff and used to getting his way. She needs a protector and he is an Alpha Dabby Dom - they were made for each other if they can fully accept it.
I enjoyed this story which had the neglected Charlie under the care of the dominant Clint who recognises in her a Little who desperately needed a daddy to care for her. The analysis of her emotions after the treatment and the recognition that it was not right and that she was worth so much more was great and I was thrilled when Clint finally recognised that he just could not resist her. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content including a BDSM relationship of a DDLG nature.
