Review: I Married a Dragon by Regine Abel 3 of 5 stars

I Married a Dragon (Prime Mating Agency, #6)

I Married a Dragon by Regine Abel
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

While clearing an infection of shadow beasts human Kaida's enforcer unit encounters the dragon Shadow Lord Cedros. As soon as he meets her it becomes obvious to him that she is the only one who can tame his dragon. Therefore she agrees to a temporary marriage of convenience while she is also charged with solving the mystery of why these shadow beasts keep appearing in the wrong place. But with each passing day, she is drawn to the sweet and socially awkward male who is currently her husband. Cedros just needs to convince her to stay with him as he is certain that she is his mate and without her, he will go mad.

I enjoyed this story which started a little oddly with the marriage of convenience and her missions but soon morphed into a story of romance and love. I enjoyed his attempts to make her welcome and did find some of her reluctance a little strange, but at least she did finally make a proper decision. The pet she was given was cute sounding and it was great to see that Cedros was always supportive of her and her career which was great to see. Caontains mature content.
