ER doctor Mallory Bryant is on the run from an abusive fiance and arrives at her sister's Connecticut resort desperate for a place to restore balance, but Club Inferno is more than just a place for the rich and fashionable. Underneath it all, there is a secret erotic playground for dominants and submissives to play out fantasies. Mallory is assigned Max Spencer as her bodyguard but he soon introduces her to intense passion. Max is one of the club's most skilled doms and enjoys taking Mallory to the limits of pleasure but soon everything starts blurring the lines between master and student and so when Mallory's violent past catches up with her he has to draw her closer than ever no matter the risk to himself.
I really enjoyed this story which had the damaged Mallory initially freaking out at her sister's club but soon with the help of hunky Max exploring herself and her limits. I loved that they were both attracted to each other and managed to find a way to get around restrictions until it was far too late. I loved that her strength in came via counselling and the dom/submissive side of things. In the end, they were an adorable couple and I was thrilled that they were able to find a way to stay together. Contains explicit mature content and BDSM-like scenarios.
