Review: The Enchanting Nanny by K. Sterling 3 of 5 stars

The Enchanting Nanny (Nannies of New York #4)

The Enchanting Nanny by K. Sterling
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Agnes Cameron is fifty-two and from one of the wealthiest families in Manhattan. She is ready to improve her life, put her playgirl ways behind her and adopt a child. Thirty-year-old Penny Lane Tucker is a wild child vegan and a nanny extraordinaire. Penny believes in soulmates and the power of love, and suspects fate is playing tricks when she's sent to The Killian House and meets her new clients. Penny and Agnes have a shared history but decide to play it cool for the sake of eight-year-old June. Then the trio heads to the Tucker family cabin in the Catskills for the summer. Sparks fly and love blossoms as Penny learns that she's not who she thinks she is and that Agnes and June might be her soulmates. But can Penny trust wayward Agnes with her heart? And can Agnes prove she’s ready to put her wild ways behind her and tame her enchanting nanny?

This was a sweet story as Agnes and Penny got their family with the addition of June and the HEA that they deserved. I did find some of the angst suffered by Agnes and Penny to be rather daft at times and I did find such confident women suffering that many self-doubts odd. Easy to read and feel. This was an FF story with mature content.
