Nick wants what every person wants - someone by his side through thick and thin. This was a dramatic story with many layers around the bad guy gunning for the Royal bodyguards, Nick and the rest of the team and Kai and his many identities and their relationship with Nick. I loved Kai and how he was a perfect challenge for Nick. Everything was easy to read and feel so I was experiencing it with them. This was an MM story with mature content.
