Wow - now I understand Cass and what her childhood was like - and it really wasn't pleasant. Balidor's attempts to bring her back were calculated until they became desperate. I liked that sometimes it was difficult to know who was the dominant of the two of them and the different examples of Christmas spirit - both past and present. Well written and very enjoyable - a must-read for anyone who is a follower of this series and wants to understand more about Cass and her motivations.
