Alexa Milan is a Lioness and does personal security for stars. He doesn't do romance, but the sexy and geeky scientist who she is assigned to protect makes her heart do flip-flops. How is she supposed to concentrate on protecting him when all she can think of is doing unspeakable things to him on his lab table? Scientist Zeke Tristone has always hated being the weak guy but running from bad buys almost gets him killed but Alexa does what he asked and applies the four needles containing his drugs to his neck to keep him alive - with the pleasant side effect of giving him the kind of body he could only dream of. The problem is that the dangerous animals inside of him what Alexa more than their next meal but he needs to try and hold back - he wants to ensure her safety from other (plus himself) first. Can he get himself together and have the HEA with Alexa that they both want?
I liked this story which was full of danger, drama and action as Alexa and Zeke fought for their lives as well as a future together that their fate (and animals) demanded. I liked the way that the attraction was there and that everything aligned so that they could have the future that they deserved. An enjoyable story that had plenty of action. Contains explicit sexual content.
