Desiree has had dreadful luck with men especially her last boyfriend who turned her before he had even realised that he was actually a Vampire. Undead and definitely wiser, she now hosts an internet show called Desiree After Dark where she tries hard to help women avoid users like him. However, his ex-girlfriend is currently stalking Desiree and blaming her for stealing him away form her. It's certainly not true but the treats to Desiree are coming hard and fast as it is starting to escalate. Panther shifter Hunter is sent by the PDA to be her bodyguard determined to protect her from any peril. When they meet it becomes clear to him that she is his fated mate and they can't keep apart during steamy nights and sensuous days while they work to trap her stalker. As the stalker increases her game, Desiree struggles with her own doubts about how their relationship can work going forward. Can they move past these troubles and have the HEA that they deserve?
I loved this story which was a nice twist from shifter/shifter or shifter/human to a shifter/vampire scenario. It was great to work through all of the doubts and complications as to why a future between them could fail and how they worked their way past it. Well written and easy to read I was quite addicted to the story by the end. Contains explicit sexual content.
