A Baby for Chashan by Erin Tate by
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Healing Master Chashan has been with his wife Heart Master Khaza for over a hundred years but she is still able to surprise him. That is exactly what she does when she finds a pregnant woman in trouble outside of the Preor Tower - she promises to care for the child if the worst happens. Now Chasan has to make a choice - claim the human baby as his own and put joy in his childless mate's heart or turn the child over to the human authorities. What will be his choice - honour or love?
This was a sweet novella which gave you no background on the characters so cannot be read as a stand-alone story unless you take some things on trust. I loved the way that they cared for the child and the way Khaza was very clearly determined to keep the child - something that I could not see Chashan denying. Easy to read and enjoy. Contains a little explicit sexual content.
