Feral Blood by Eva Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Human Talia has been kidnapped by fae twice - the first was by brutal monsters who starved and brutalised her while keeping her in a cage, the second fae who rescued her and gave her a safe haven. Across both group they have something in common - they are Seelie fae who are under a decades-old curse that turns them into savage and mindless beasts at the time of the full moon - with just one known cure - Talia's blood. To many fae, she is just a prize to be claimed, but to the three fiercely passionate men she is now with, they would give her freedom if only the original fae wouldn't stop at anything to drag her back to their prison, especially as the already weakened pack that’s welcomed me may not survive a battle. What she certainly didn't expect to find in all of this, is love, and now she doesn't feel so alone as they step into the fray to protect her.
This was a great second instalment in the story of Talia as she sorts out her own feelings and becomes much closer with the three fae who rescued her and are her new family now. I loved the negotiations between the groups of fae as well as the ingenious way that Talia was able to be involved in some major events. It was well written and easy for me to understand and feel the thoughts and emotions of the characters. I loved the development of the story and I can't wait to find out what happens next as that was quite a bombshell at the end. Contains some explicit sexual content.
