Human Carrie Morgan was crocheting in her living room and the next second a peach coloured alien claiming to be a Celestial Mates agent transports her, her dog and their packing 400 years into the future. She is left standing there on her own waiting for her supposed mate - a blue-skinned cyborg general. The agent left out some key information - humans and cyborgs are at war! She is starting to think the alien who sent her is crazy but the more she knows of DVS84 the more convinced she is that he was right - especially after some passionate nights. She just has to survive in her new environment if she wants to find a HEA.
This was a nice story and gave a view of what could happen in a futuristic world if technology was given the ability to think and if the control overall was lost. I enjoyed the story and the dog was a nice distraction from the more boring science fiction elements to make it altogether more enjoyable. Easy to read and understand. Contains sexual content.
