Human Lisa and her missing twin brother were implanted with secret technology and she has come out of hiding from the cartel and the corporation to find her brother. Her only hope for escape is a sexy alien pirate with a grudge and yet a scorching kiss from him could lead to disaster. The species of captain Qayaan is doomed as the corporation destroyed his home-world and with no females left his fleet are turning to piracy to have some revenge. He certainly did not expect Lisa to worm her way into his heart. Together they will fight to stay out of the hands of both the cartel and the corporation but when the biotechnology in Lisa becomes unstable she must make a drastic choice about her future.
I really enjoyed this story with the use of biotechnology as well as the way that their relationship developed. The crew were quite involved in the story and loved the way that they were obviously not afraid to speak their minds. A great starter to the series and I hope that the subsequent books also are as good a read. Contains sexual content.
