Human Leah first day in her new job is a complete disaster - she has spilt coffee all over her work uniform and then the elevator breaks down. Now she is stuck in a mining cage with an alien silent miner with mighty fists, shocking fangs and a mean right hook. Bizarrely he keeps pulling her into his arms and inhaling her scent. When the cage suddenly starts hurtling towards a certain disaster she finds her bare hand accidentally clasped between his rough claw which means she is suddenly about to start the meaning of the term "mating compatible". The question is whether she is ready for such a commitment or is she about to break his heart?
This was a nice novella which was an enjoyable quick read. I loved the touch of them all having to wear gloves to avoid accidental touching although I'm sure accidents are frequent. Easy to read and understand. Contains explicit sexual content.
