Prince George is third in line for the throne and so doesn't believe he will be the King which he is more than happy with. He prefers to be in the shadow of his brother because he can then hide his extracurricular activities. When his life is torn apart by grief, he loses himself in the shadows until he focuses on what matters - love. Timothy does not want more media attention as he left his hometown to get away from it to start with. Balancing his teaching requirements and the needs of his new patient he then has to also balance the feelings that should never have grown, but then the choice as to what is right is taken away from him. Going back into the place where Eddie had been abused by the person who should have taken care of him (his Dom) was much harder than he expected, but finding in George someone patient enough to help him through his anxiety about a BDSM relationship was great. However, royal duties threaten to pull them apart before they have really started. As their three lives intertwine, who will throw themselves into the deep end and who will back away scared of repercussions?

I adored this story with the three men who all needed to be cared for in their own way and how that care set them up for a deep and meaningful relationship which meant that they could all cope with what was affecting their lives either in the past, the present or even in the future. It was really special how they were able to talk and focus on what was important and what their needs were of each other. I was thrilled when they were able to make their choice and how their immediate family and friends were very supportive. Contains MMM sexual content as well as scenes of a BDSM nature.

Can she get to the bottom of the situation before it is too late and can she keep her heart safe from this gorgeous man?

I liked some parts of the story, and some just did not make any sense at all. My first point is the book title - how is an accountant known as a nanny? The other was how stupid and nieve Ferryn was - surely the fact that the house was falling apart, there was no food, and yet the brother did not also live in abject poverty not tell him something was sorely amiss? I guess my final confusion with this entire book was that there was no mention of his heated spine or any of the other usual signs that he had found his fated mate. However, I did enjoy reading it and there were several dramatic moments in the story. Contains a little mature content.

I really enjoyed this story which had a nice concentration on emotions and prior experiences. I loved the entire concept of the Nice family and their very supportive parents. I loved the mature attitude and approach that Ned and Heath had to their relationship, potential problems and working them out. A nice sensitive book that was easy to read, feel and understand. This is a book for mature readers only containing references to a sexual assault and as well as a description of an M:M sexual relationship.

Whilst Henry has secrets so does Robert and they will have to appeal to many minds before the rules of Henry's ancestors are brought into the modern world.

I really enjoyed this story with the D/s dynamics around the area of pet play in a BDSM context. As is always the case in Club Royal and the family, there are some major family dramas, some great friendships, some drama from evil outside the family and thankfully a HEA. This was easy to read and get drawn into their story - both the challenges and the rewards. I loved the relationship between Henry and Robert and the way that they really were meant to be together. The rest of the six were very supportive and I loved the way that they were able to do whatever it took to support them. Contains mature content that should only be read by adult readers.

It was action on top of the action and poor Tae and Clay just wanted time to concentrate on themselves and their relationship. They say that you can choose your friends but not your family and that was certainly true for the guys. This was easy to read, feel and understand as I was swept away with the story. There is something about the author's writing style that draws you in, invades your entire mind and then spits you out at the end. I'm now dying to find out how everything concludes. Contains mature content and an MM relationship.

Jada was escaping a bad situation by staying with her cousin and was set up with a blind date with Hyrrokin Idun Grindstone. She is set to gain a significant inheritance and he is a foul-mouthed security specialist - but she is enchanted with the smoke that wafts out of his nostrils, his bare chest and barbed tail. However, he made it clear that he thinks that she is spoiled, an irresponsible party girl and he wants nothing to do with her (even if sometimes he behaves differently). She doesn't behave that way - that is her twin sister. Then she is kidnapped by the Hyrrokin mafia and held for ransom. Idun activates his team at Molten Lava Security and all hell breaks loose. Finally, Idun shows exactly how he feels about her and that he cares for her. Maybe they do have a future together after all.

Some of this was enjoyable and fit in well with the series, and part of it was a little rushed and lacking in substance. Idun was delightful in his stubborn denial of what was impossible to actually deny and it was just a relief when he came to his senses. Easy to read and understand if a little light in places. Contains some mature content near the end of the story.

Then someone else is after her and they appear to be far more dangerous plus there is more to him than they realise. Sharing their love in the family should be easy (even if some might react badly) but they thought the dust had settled when even more ferocious trouble came calling - he must stand firm and fight because his world without her in it is worth nothing.

Wow - a story of love, passion and danger all mixed into the love story between Bayou and Novah. I enjoyed the analysis of feelings and whether they were forbidden and the torture of the trouble that came calling. Both Bayou and Novah had to show immense strength of character as a result but thankfully they came out better as people in the end. An explosive conclusion to the trouble is followed by great tenderness (something you might not associate with an MC book). Easy to read and understand, I could feel and empathise with all of the thoughts and emotions of the characters. Contains mature content.

Shifter Genesis has always taken care of herself but luck ran out when she was locked up for murder even though it was self-defence. Nick helps her to be released as long as she works for him. Never normally a problem but the geek she is investigating is cute and her fated mate. He finds out about a secret serum that can turn humans into shifters and he has some decisions to make - his new beautiful sassy secretary is a shifter and she just saved his life but she just made the decision to use the serum on him to save him and he needs to decide whether to forgive her and to keep it a secret or not.

I liked this story. It took a little while to get used to Genesis as she was a bit abrupt but there was no denying their attraction and that he now needed to do a radical about-turn on what he was going to be and how his life will be in the future. There was definitely danger and drama in this story with some almost comical moments involving Genesis and her attempts to work for Saxon. Easy to read and understand. Contains just a little mature content.

He was given exclusive membership of Club Royal but has never used it as it is not his kind of thing. When Douglas figured out Maverick's weakness he wants to be the one to teach him everything and it sends them both on a journey that they had not anticipated. Can Maverick trust his body to Douglas?

I really enjoyed this story which has a sensitively told working relationship which morphed into a more physical relationship which then developed into love. I think they loved each other before their physical relationship started and it was more a manifestation of it. I loved the way that they were able to stand up for each other, help when there was trouble using whatever skills that they had, and that their family was able to adapt and accept the situation as part of their love for their child. Some dramatic moments, some sensation play, BDSM and D/s dynamics plus of course sexual encounters. This is a book only for mature readers. I loved that there was a HEA at the end.

Then Gerri Wilder waltzes into his office asking for this help with the most mismanaged case he has ever seen and he has to get involved as he cannot bear injustice. Human Hailey Thornby has been tried and convinced for crimes he did not commit and her sentence is just the start of her troubles as she is not safe and the people who framed her don't want her to appeal. When Darren Handler offers to represent her for her appeal she has hope for only about two seconds before the threats start. A cellblock is no place for an innocent woman especially when she is a shifter's fated mate. Love might save the day as justice is served.

I enjoyed the mystery associated with this story as they worked out why she was set up, what the criminals were up to and how they could get her released. I loved the way that Darren put everything on the line for her to make sure that she was safe and protected. It was a nice twist on the paranormal dating agency series as it wasn't the usual formulaic story. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

Ex-serviceman Jake Monroe lost his best friend who was like his brother and so he is in the area in order to fulfil his commitment and be there for his friend's widow and infant - he just needs to get a job first. When Alyssa runs into Jake she knows he is different and can't stop thinking about him. Jake knows getting involved with his new boss's niece is not a good idea but there is something about her that he cannot resist and as she is so determined he won't rush her but will see her even if it is only for the summer.

I enjoyed this story which was focused on the relationship between Alyssa and Jake. As it was just before she went to college I found her determination to lose her virginity a little strange as it should be something special and not something to just lose - so I was heartened when Jake handled it so sensitively. It was also good to see the way he was doing his best to handle the care for his friend's wife and how he really wanted to help her. Easy to read and understand I think everything was clear and sensitively written.

Wait For It - book one in the Better In Bed series - 4 of 5 stars

Cat Thomas is 27 and still a virgin and she feels like she must be the last one alive in River Pointe, New York. She had made a commitment when she was a teenager to wait for marriage but years later she feels it must have been the worst decision ever as the older she gets the bigger a deal it is. Ryder Hawkins is a single dad of a seven-year-old daughter and wants to give her a life she deserves of stability and a loving parent. When Cat meets Ryder she thinks he is just like every other man out there and won't give him the time of day, but he can see she is different and could make him feel whole again. Can he capture her attention, will she give up on her commitment for him, or will he wait for it?

I loved this story which was full of assumptions, missteps and trust issues. I feel that Cat made it a much bigger deal than it needed to be and that was why she was sabotaging her own relationships - however, Ryder was obviously the one as he was determined that nothing would stop him and Cat from having a chance. I liked the clear writing style and that she gave a good level of detail when extra information was needed. I loved the relationship between Cat and Ryder's daughter. Easy to read and understand. Just a little mature content.

But there is something about him that she cannot resist as he is sweet, considerate and gorgeous - she feels he could be something more than a fling and then she learns his secret and it all comes crashing down.

I really enjoyed this story and the story of Amber, the softball angle, the cop angle and their building relationship. It took me a while just like it took Caleb a while to connect the dots, before his realisation of their connection. To not confess immediately was a major failure and so I can understand some of her upset. Thank goodness she came around and that he never gave in. Easy to read and understand. Contains a little mature content.

Chubby & Charming - book one in the Big & Beautiful series - 2 of 5 stars

Chubby Mandy was happy in her life (mostly) as she knew that any guy would never want a fat girl like her. Then a guy she talked to on the phone at work wanted to take her on a date and she immediately declined - after all he looked hot on his social media and she knew he wouldn't want a girl that looked like her. Her friends told her to give him a chance and she gave him an out - meet her for coffee and then if he turned away from her she could rejoin her friends at their table. But he didn't take it - was relentless - and liked her curves. How could she say no to that?

I found this book a hard read - she was so insecure and paranoid that I wondered how he coped with her at all. It was fairly hard to read but as it was a quick read I made it to the end. I have read other books by this author and they were much better and so I can only conclude that this was early in her writing career and she improved over time. A little muddled a times but easy to understand. Contains a little mature content.
