Review: Big Fang Theory by Milly Taiden 3 of 5 stars

Big Fang Theory (Paranormal Dating Agency, #53)

Big Fang Theory by Milly Taiden
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Human Dana has been focused on her musical career and not on dating as she is currently striving for a spot in the city's philharmonic orchestra as a violinist. She meets Gerri Wilder and is sceptical about giving Gerri a chance to find her the perfect man. Panther shifter Rux is a billionaire who loves classical music and classic cars. To him Dana represents a chance to finally open up instead of sticking to his very private world - it also helps that she is beautiful and he can connect with someone who truly understands him. He finds it hard to get his head around the fact that she really is real and the one. Things get complicated when Dana tries to help an abused student where both Dana and Ruc end up getting tangled in an international conspiracy which involves kidnapping, drug running and evil shifters. Things are soon to get bad really quickly - can they win against the odds to have the future that they deserve?

I enjoyed this story which mixed a shifter learning to cope with how to woo a very hesitant woman with her own dreams together with a mystery that led to a dramatic end which actually crossed both of their worlds. I found Dana to be a bit strange as she was hesitant to the point of obsession and that Ruc had far more patience than I have ever imagined a shifter being capable of. I did love the way that things came to their final conclusion in their relationship and that it was amazing that any male was capable of quite such a level of romance. Easy to read and understand. Contains mature content.
