Julian Thick has been in love with Parker Ellis who is his best friend forever but unfortunately he is straight. Now all is lost because he is engaged to his high school sweetheart Erin. Then at the wedding weekend Parker is left at the altar Julian whisks him away to a cabin in Aster Valley. Then he accidentally discovers that Julian has been keeping secrets. The kind of secrets that lead to hot experimental kisses in front of a blazing fire, tentative physical exploration in a way he'd never imagined before, and the kind of intimate, true confessions he'd never even dreamed of between Parker and the one person who's always been his true home.
I loved this story of how Julian got his HEA with his best friend at Aster Valley and the perfect future. I enjoyed how Julian's friends were involved even if some of it was hilarious. Easy to read, feel and understand this was full of emotions. This was an MM story with mature content.
