Cooper came to Texas with a single goal: to find his bio-dad before the end of summer. Instead, he found Will, a spitfire of a man with sharp blue eyes and a swoon-worthy drawl. When he proposes adding benefits to our newfound friendship, he's all in. The problem? Cooper is smitten. With not one, but two men. Because Will has a friend that makes me smile like no other. His time in Plum Valley is coming to an end, but if he's not careful, he’ll be leaving his heart behind when he goes. Will is spending summer break back home with his best friend was not supposed to be complicated. But then Tru and he kissed, and for the first time, he doesn’t know where they stand. Now Cooper, the new ranch hand, is mixed up in matters, and he's even less sure of what it all means. The three of them fit together effortlessly, but he worries it’s only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. He doesn’t know how to get out of this tangled mess, and truth be told, he's not sure he wants to. To Tru it’s simple. Will and he are exploring what it means to go from friends to more. But as an asexual man, there are certain activities he's uninterested in. Will likes Cooper, and Cooper is all about Will. And Tru has no problem sharing. But as summer ticks down, Tru learns a few lessons. One, he feels more at home in Plum Valley than anywhere else. Two, he's been harbouring major feelings for Will. And three, Cooper’s infectious optimism isn’t something he's ready to part with. Time’s almost up. Yet I’m nowhere near ready to say goodbye.
I loved this story of the three men who discovered that together they are the perfect combination for a happy future. I love Tru - he is such a caring man who deserves happiness. Will is a fighter and in this case, he was determined to fight for Tru's happiness and then for the relationship between the three men. A lot of emotions and feelings in this story. This was an MMM story with mature content.
