Now she is far more cautious and uses her knack for reading people to save herself heartache. However, when people connected to the foundation start dying in slightly unexpected or mysterious ways she needs to depend on help from the new man in her life. Computer specialist and ex-cop, Roman Chandler has s secret that could ruin his relationship with Shay. Can he get her to trust him and learn more about him while saving Shay when the killer sets their sights on her?
This was definitely a clever psychic mystery wrapped up into a romance between Shay and Roman. There were parts of this story that I found long-winded and monotonous, and there were parts that I really enjoyed (hence the rating). It was well written and very enjoyable to read. The way that Roman rescues Shay at the end was very clever.
