Review: Dragon's Love by Miranda Martin 2 of 5 stars

Dragon's Love (Red Planet Dragons of Tajss, #3)Dragon's Love by Miranda Martin
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Amara was on a spaceship which has crashed onto a brutal desert planet occupied by hot alien dragon men. Thankfully one of her friends struck up a relationship with one of the aliens and that has meant that many more of the humans are able to survive. Amara was definitely on the bitchy, miserable and cranky side of things as she is determined not to get involved in the pairing up of the alien dragon men and human women which are now resulting in pregnancies. However, Shidan is one of the aliens who has decided that she is the one for him and is always there whenever she turns around. As things start to go wrong with the first pregnancy Amara is sure she can find something on the crashed ship to help with the course she just needs to leave the protection of the city to get it. The only way she will survive is if she has Shidan there for protection - the problem is he has made it clear to her that all his wants and needs are her love.

Dear me - Amara is just so whiny, miserable, and bitchy that I hated her for about 80% of the book. Twice I almost stopped reading it and give in but I am invested enough in the other women who needed the equipment that I carried on reading. I liked Shidan and felt incredibly sorry for him for most of the book. Easy to read and understand. Contains some explicit sexual content.
