Ever since Saturn heard the band Not a Vampire play she has been in love with three of the band members - keyboardist Slash, drummer Ajax and bassist Draikh. When she finally meets them face to face she discovers that the stage effects that they use are not an illusion - can she handle a dragon shifter, a mage and a blue alien with extra limbs?
This fun prequel is a quick read to introduce readers to the Solar Mates series. I quite liked the premise of supernatural hiding in plain sight finding their mates among "normal" people who need to make a giant leap to understand what they are. Easy to read and understand. A good light read to take you away from the normal world.
