Review: His Precious Omega by Raiven Matthews 5 of 5 stars

His Precious Omega (Sweet Alps Mates #3)

His Precious Omega by Raiven Matthews
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Brendan Sinclair is a Daddy who has yet to find a boy he wanted to keep forever. Then at a kink club, he saw a shy and innocent boy waiting to sit on Santa's lap and he knew he wanted him to keep forever and would do everything to protect him. But can he be the kind of Daddy he deserves? Ryan Foster asked Santa for his forever Daddy and he feels that has been provided as Brendan makes him feel safe and treasured but first, he has a secret that might tear him apart. Can he escape his past once and for all? Or will their mate bond be destroyed by darkness he can’t outrun?

I enjoyed this story of the attraction between the two men, the determination in Brendan to give Ryan what he needs and his annoying caution to give so many checks with opportunities for Ryan to leave (which were not necessary). The stalker aspect was dramatic and the action-packed ending was definitely tear-inducing when it appeared as if certain characters were going or were already dead. Easy to read, feel and understand you will definitely feel emotional as you read some of this. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic

** Trigger warming - There is a stalker and some mention of infertility if either of them are triggers for you.

Review: Cuddle Bug by Aster Rae 4 of 5 stars

Cuddle Bug: A Sugary Sweet MM Daddy Romance

Cuddle Bug: A Sugary Sweet MM Daddy Romance by Aster Rae
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wexley has a chronic illness and whenever he is at the Hug Club all the Daddies write him off as a lost cause and just give him sympathetic glances. Then he has a medical emergency and Daddy Wren steps in and rescues him. Wren owns the Hug Club with his four best friends and is very open with his feelings. All his gentle hugs and loving care show how in the past he has experienced rejection. Wren helps him to take his medication and takes him to the snuggle room where they hold each other, cuddle, and talk about their feelings all night. Wexley just hopes when it is time to go home Wren will still want to be his.

This was a really sweet story with a very sensitive and ill boy who needed just the right Daddy who was prepared to care for him and love him while giving him lots of cuddles. I loved having a chronically ill character who needed care and love although I did find some of the aspects of the story around driving ships a little strange. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story containing a little mature content and with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Review: An Omega for Christmas by Wendy Rathbone 5 of 5 stars

An Omega for Christmas (The Omega Misfits, #7)

An Omega for Christmas by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Triggs Burn is due at Christmas and so his triplet brother Mathias insists on renting him an Omega of his choice from Zilly’s Omega Chattel Farm to get to know him during the holiday week. At the lineup he picks Kyler. Trigg arranges a whirlwind of activities and shopping spoiling Kyler and as they do all of that they open up to each other and build trust and intimacy (without actual sex) until the burn hits.

I really enjoyed this story which showed the way that an Alpha and Omega should connect through talking, dating and just plain intimacy before they get down to the more physical side of things. I just felt that they really loved each other as well as being fated mates instead of many of the others where the fated mates and physical intimacy came first. There were a lot of emotions in this story and it was heartbreaking to think that Kyler might have to return and even worse go to a bonding with anyone else. Easy to read, feel and understand. I felt this was the best book of this series. This is an MM story with mature content set in the Omegaverse with Mpreg.

** Please note triplet characters Trigg, Mathias and Kris are from The Omega Misfits books Trust No Alpha and Single Omega Dad.

Sugar Bear (Sugar Daddies #3)

Sugar Bear by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Younger Jude and Hendrix meet in the world around MMA fighting and sponsorship and their relationship develops around the "truth or dare" game as they learn more about each other but Hendrix keeps his past well hidden and avoids telling Jude about it. When Hendrix’s past slaps Jude in the face, he’ll have to choose—accept what he’s learned or lose the greatest man he’s ever met.

I enjoyed this story although it was quite instalove between the two men who were compatible with their kinks. There was obviously a wealth difference between them and it was a good angle for some of the events that happened. However, a lot of time was spent on another character which was quite confusing. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Alpha Snowed In by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Alpha Snowed In (The Omega Misfits #6.6)

Alpha Snowed In by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In this novella, Omega Kori is a recluse who is able to masquerade as an Alpha so that he can own his own home, and run his own business on the internet. During a bad winter storm, an Alpha called Usher skids his car off the road in front of Kori's house. Stranded it becomes clear that Usher is in the early stages of a Burn and Kori's disguise and virginity are in danger.

I enjoyed this story with the brave Kori who had managed the impossible and lived as an Alpha until the fateful day that Usher arrived. It was clear that Kori had escaped from the Chattel Farm but it was not detailed how that happened or how he managed to gain all that he had at the start of the story. I also found the control that Usher had surprising given his age. Easy to read and understand. This is a MM story with mature content set in the Omegaverse including Mpreg.

Review: Alpha Daddy by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Alpha Daddy (The Omega Misfits #6.5)

Alpha Daddy by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In this novella Omega Noah is at Zilly's Chattel Farm and has just turned eighteen and so eagerly awaiting his first time servicing an Alpha. Warden Chiri calls him into his office to discuss his first client who has chosen Noah for his beauty, youth and virginity agreeing to pay a premium price for him. However, the client has some fetishes that the warden has to discuss with him and get his consent before the agreement is made. The Alpha wants Noah to call him Daddy and many other requirements.

This was an interesting take on an Omegaverse Chattel Farm story merged into a BDSM-like DDLB story. I like the gentleness that Noah was treated with and the way that everyone was so careful with him about knowledge and consent. I was pleased with the ending although it would have been far better with more detail so that I enjoyed it rather than just consumed it. Easy to read and understand. This is a MM story containing mature content and set in the Omegaverse with Mpreg.

Omega Untamed (The Omega Misfits, #6)

Omega Untamed by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Omega Kee is beautiful and a popular rent boy in the Trenches of Old Town. He is also an addict who appears to be impossible to tame. Kidnapped by Alpha drug lords who think he knows too much he is trapped until an Alpha called Bast rescues him and tries to tame him through kindness and holding him down to keep him from the worst of himself.

I enjoyed this story with the out-of-control Kee who was hiding from people so that he would never get hurt. Bast was working undercover and put everything at risk to help Kee but he could not help him as he was innocent and I believe could feel a connection to him. Easy to read, feel and understand. The times when Kee was hurting while Bast cared for him were very special. This was an MM story with mature content with a Daddy/boy dynamic set in the Omegaverse with a Mpreg.

Review: Sugar Boss by Charity Parkerson 4 of 5 stars

Sugar Boss (Sugar Daddies #2)

Sugar Boss by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

MMA fighter Maverick knew when he met Zander Kapra he'd have to set some boundaries as he is not going to become another notch on his bedpost even though he is in a position to make or break his career. Zander owns all of the Luna hotels and casinos on the West Coast and Maverick caught his eye months ago and so he makes a point to always be there watching him fight. After Zander makes his move they both struggle for dominance but Maverick's problem might well be Zander's secrets which might be too big for him to take.

I enjoyed this story with the two men who fall in love and apart from Maverick's issues around Zander's wealth seem fine until some of his secrets come out and Maverick draws the line against them. After some discussions and details about times well before they met each other I was relieved when they managed to sort out their differences. This was an emotional story with some harrowing stories from the past. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Sugar Fighter by Charity Parkerson 3 of 5 stars

Sugar Fighter (Sugar Daddies #1)

Sugar Fighter by Charity Parkerson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

In this novella, Zeke is the MMA's Light Heavyweight champion and so has fought in million-dollar matches and has multi-million-dollar sponsorships. After a promise to his friend Charlie to care for his brother Korey if anything happened to him the worst happens and Korey now lives with Zeke as he studies at Stanford. As time passes all he wants is Korey under him but resists. Korey is addicted to Zeke's presence and is dependent on the man's smiles and hot glances. However, neither man wants to cross the line from friend to lover.

I enjoyed this story with all of the drama between them especially after Korey crosses the line and Zeke blows it afterwards. I loved the involvement of friend Maverick and how he did his best for the two men to push them back together. It was great to hear emotions from strong fighter Zeke and understand that he is just as human as anyone else. Easy to read, feel emotions and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Omega Chattel by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Omega Chattel (The Omega Misfits, #5)

Omega Chattel by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Omega Alli was at Zilly's Chattel Farm and is seen as an upstart but is actually being threatened by a brutal house dad. The last straw is when he is then threatened with being institutionalised when he turns eighteen in a few days he gathers what he can and runs away. Alpha engineer Tarin runs a very small school from his own home for wayward Omegas with only three or four residents at a time. When he meets Alli on the streets even though his house is full he brings him home. Alli agrees to be a student as that is better than selling himself on the streets but he really just wants Tarin himself. However, Tarin doesn't sleep with his students and the one exception he made in the past broke his heart. As a spontaneous bond forms between the two men Alli is determined to have his way.

I enjoyed this story with the brutal house dad, Alli's escape and meeting Tarin and their instant attraction. I loved the way that Tarin's former lover came back to tell him to be happy with Alli and that finally, the two mates gave in to the mate bond that was inevitable between them. I loved the way it ended and the view into the future. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content set in the Omegaverse with knotting and mpreg.

Review: Glow by Sammi Cee 4 of 5 stars

Glow (Carousal Lounge #2)

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Omega dancer Mystic's dream was to find himself an Alpha mate and have children so that he could be a papa. Instead at the age of nineteen, he is a virgin and dancing at the Carousal Lounge Gentlemen's Club and so spends all of his spare time looking after his friends' children. When shifter Alpha Blaze is hired to protect the Omega dancers and their families he takes a special interest in Mystic and pushes him to take better care of himself. Could Blaze be the Alpha Mystic is looking for who will let him call him Daddy?

I enjoyed this story with everyone trying to protect Mystic who is part of their family, Mystic working far too hard caring for children and other family members plus Blaze trying to resist him while being his Daddy. I enjoyed this story which had a lot of protectiveness and emotions on top of a threat to the Omegas that needed to be handled. I loved the way that the strong Blazr showed his emotions and moments of weakness to his mate. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship set in the Omegaverse

Review: Single Omega Dad by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Single Omega Dad (The Omega Misfits, #4)

Single Omega Dad by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After the death of his Alpha husband, Omega Sage has to have a financial guardian because Omegas are judged to not be capable. Mathias is rude and self-centred but much of that is the way his father brought him up to believe that Aphas were perfect and that all Omegas were there for was to service them and have babies. Sage has twin boys and is also pregnant with another set of twins. Sage is drawn to Mathias which is nonsense as he doesn't have time to pander to the whims of a rich man. But Mathias starts coming around to the house asking Sage to sign documents and bringing gifts for the boys.

I enjoyed this story which continued from the first book in the series where we met Mathias. I enjoyed the way that his attraction to Sage gave him an epiphany where he realised that Omegas were not worthless, not there just to service Alphas and that he had treated his brother wrong in the first book. It was so special when treated Sage's two sons the same even though they were not of the same status. The sibling reunion and ending were special and definitely an aww moment. Easy to read, feel and understand I was definitely invested in these two men and their relationship. This is an MM story with mature content set in the Omegaverse including Mpreg.

Review: Lethal by Joe Satoria 3 of 5 stars

Lethal

Lethal by Joe Satoria
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Cal Drake's life took a dangerous turn but then he met Frankie who was the hitman for his family who rescues Cal and starts to feel emotions and suddenly his lethal precision wavers. Cal finds himself with only his wits and a growing attraction to Frankie to guide him but there is a price to pay as they uncover a secret past and a darkness that threatens to consume them both. Amidst trust issues and a history steeped in danger, Frankie embarks on uncovering Cal’s mysterious past whilst seeking revenge. As he delves deeper into the truth, he realizes that love may be the key to healing his lethal heart. In a world where loyalty is tested, and danger lurks at every corner, Cal and Frankie must navigate the treacherous path of love, pain, and contract killing.

I really struggled with this story and found it hard to relate to or empathise with the two men. Their relationship was based on raw emotions and raw need and although Frankie never hit Cal their brand of Daddy/boy relationship was hard to picture. I never doubts how much they loved each other but I did doubt how long-lasting it would be. I did enjoy the technology side of things and his friend who was happy to help with internet stuff and free upgrades. Easy to read. This is an MM book with mature content, violence and a Daddy/boy relationship.

Faraway Match

Faraway Match by Roe Horvat
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Norman lives in the middle of nowhere and works as a Conservation Officer and so is more familiar with deer and raccoons. Feeling lonely and wanting to start a family he enrolls with the Perfect Match agency in an attempt to find his mate. Omega Bentley wants a picket fence and children before he is thirty and so decides after failure to find a mate on his own to sign up with the Perfect Mattch agency hoping that all of their science will find him the right person. When they tell him that they have found a match for him and he is two thousand miles away. He is excited to go and visit him and find out if they really are compatible and seems to be enjoying himself. Is there a chance he will say there with Norman forever?

I enjoyed this story with the two men who were perfect for each other and the way that the love of nature and a dog called Pretzel all worked together to make their relationship work. I enjoyed that Bentley did a job that could be done from anywhere and that fit perfectly into the scenario of living anywhere. Easy to read, feel and understand. Review: Radar by Dale Mayer 4 of 5 stars

Radar (Terk's Guardians Book 1)

Radar by Dale Mayer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Radar has what he calls his instincts and is currently roaming the world working for Levi and Bullard part-time. He is instructed to go to Paris to help a new startup and is not sure what to expect especially as Levi is cagey when describing them but insists he will fit right in. Hacker Sammy went all in to help her best friend to track down a bomber and when they get something tangible they contact the authorities to help stop him. Then her world tilts and they are kidnapped and the new team that includes Radat has to rush to find and save her and stop any future attacks. All of this leads Radar to question his instincts, Sammy's instincts and those of the rest of his team.

I enjoyed this story with the new team member who was fighting to understand what skills they had, how the future could be, and who could be in it. I did find the ending a little strange as their decisions about the future were a little too up in the air for the events that were happening. A good start to the new series and a great background to the way their setup is likely to work. Easy to read and get involved in the story and the hunt for the bomber. Contains just a little mature content at the very end.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Review: Brave by M.A. Innes 5 of 5 stars

Brave (Love and Secrets Book 2)

Brave by M.A. Innes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Charlie is painfully shy and panic is his default response to any situation most Daddies don't stay around long enough to get to know him and realise he is a naughty omega below the surface. He also has a helpful and overly protective person in fellow omega Austin. Alpha Dom Ansel has no idea how to be a Daddy or how to get to know the painfully shy cutie who is dramatically adorable when it comes to boo-boos. Wide eyes and a firm belief in which crayons are best are not enough to build a relationship or let Anssel know that Carlie is interested in him. When a new Daddy and a shy little meet, it will take patience and a nosy protector to help a sweet sub find the confidence to come out of his shell.

This was a totally adorable story that entranced me from the start to the finish. I loved Charlie and just wanted to hug him and maybe sit down and colour some pictures with him. I loved the way that Ansel tried really hard to understand what he could and couldn't do and also when to push a few of those limits. I felt as if we also saw a softer side to Austin who whilst being fierce in his protection of Charlie was also very caring and like a big brother answering all his questions. Ansel was so caring and gentle with Charlie which also made him a Daddy and definitely not a pure Dom. Easy to read, feel and understand you couldn't resist being invested in the two men and their relationship. This is a MM story with mature content with a BDSM-like DDLB relationship and set in the Omegaverse.

Review: Alpha's Embrace by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Alpha's Embrace (The Omega Misfits, #3)

Alpha's Embrace by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Misha is a Sylph (the product of an illegal Omega-to-Omega mating and is in a ten-by-ten room a bit like a prison cell. 99.9% of sylphs are born insane and Misha is rare because he is past puberty and is able to control his hypersexuality. The man in the next-door cell is called Cedric and has problems but can be calmed if Misha reads to him. Then one day a handsome Alpha called Geo who is the new Chief of Staff comes to interview and study him. Misha tries flirting with him but he is careful to avoid touching him because a mating between an Alpha and a Sylph is forbidden. Misha dreams of bonding Geo to him and making him his forever.

I enjoyed this story of a Sylph which is missing from many books and series that are set in the Omegaverse. I loved the pull between Geo and Misha and the extent he went to in order to say him and give them a future together. Certainly, Misha was proof that not all sylphs are mad and need to be kept away from everyone else. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and was set in the Omegaverse.

Alpha Sully works as the head bouncer at the club and decides to make Reign his business and Reign has to decide if he will let him in or reject what fate has in store for them.

I enjoyed this story with the tale of how Reign got to be there and working as an exotic dancer and how the relationship was between him and Sully until everything changed. I loved their relationship and the way that Sully was careful to not take advantage and ensure that Reign was able to make his own decisions. The Alpha's Fake Mate (The Omega Misfits, #2)

The Alpha's Fake Mate by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Omega Holland was on a chattel farm and had his first time with an Alpha during his burn which nearly ended up killing him and the law is such that he was never tried and punished for it. Now Holland is bitter and determined never to let an Alpha who is experiencing the burn near him again but instead to stand up for Omega's rights. Then he changed his opinion when he met Orion who is tall, has beautiful brown wavy hair, bright eyes and says please and thank you at the right times. Then he gives Holland a room in his home and willingly signs fake paperwork saying that they are bonded to protect him against a claim made by his attacker. If Holland doesn't have a real mate soon his life is in danger and his life will be over. Can he learn to love again?

I enjoyed this story with the vivid example of the disparity in rights between the Alphas and the Omegas and how that affected just one man. I loved the way that Orion tried to help the Omegas after he inherited them and that he and Holland could dance around the subject as much as they wanted but there was definitely an attraction between them that could not be denied. I loved that Ori was able to control himself and not frighten or hurt Holland. A very emotional story that will definitely make you feel and empathise with them both. Easy to read and understand. Trust No Alpha (The Omega Misfits, #1)

Trust No Alpha by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kris was an alpha and when he is reexamined and new information is revealed just before his eighteenth birthday he knows life as he knows it is over. Now he is kept a prisoner in a locked room in his wealthy father's mansion and is at the mercy of Alpha laws and Alpha domination. Everything gets worse for him when a littermate threatens him and his father starts to behave strangely towards him. Escape is his only hope even though he has no idea where he can go. Alpha Thorne is marked as dangerous and is living a secluded life alone and unloved still grieving for his mate whose death he feels responsible for. Then he discovers a dishevelled and desperate young man who acts like a runaway Omega but doesn't smell like one on his property. Thorne feels an immediate need to protect and bond with this boy and needs to work out what that is all about.

I enjoyed this story with the harsh father who provides necessary items but no love and affection and then wants to hide the anomaly that is Kris. Thorne was a tortured soul and I was so pleased to see the gentle but determined way that Kris handled him while asserting his authority. It was quite shocking to realise that Alphas had the law behind them and that Omegas had nothing and could not do anything apart from breed (often in what I think of as a brothel). Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content set in an omegaverse world.

The next day he is travelling to Wyoming to take up a job as a chef at the guest ranch. When Cassidy shows up in his kitchen, Levi’s world is turned upside-down.

I loved this story of the two friends who were separated by events that were only known by a limited number of people. I loved that Cassidy kept on looking for Levi and never gave up until a coincidence meant he was found. An Alpha for Rylan: An M/M MPreg Romance by Allie W. Scott
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rylan Mack is an Omega and is hoping to land his dream job at Medina Manufacturing which is well-known for its Omega-friendly products. Zeke Medina is trying hard to keep it together as his father's illness is progressing rapidly and the family business is now his responsibility. Then he interviews Rylan he smells like Mine although the use of products means that Rylan can't smell Zeke to pick up the mate bond too. Zeke's three best friends work together to help Rylan without all of the other smells confusing everything so he can claim his mate.

This was a sweet novella where an Alpha met his true mate in Omega Rylan. I liked the intrigue and the plan so that Rylan could smell Zeke in order to realise that he was his Alpha. I did find their constant use of the word Omega and Alpha a little strange as I assumed they would use their own names. Easy to read and understand. His Perfect Christmas Gift by Ali Ryecart
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Felix Hennessy has lived a pretty hedonistic lifestyle in London but has made another bad choice and so plans to lie low in a luxury hotel but the weather has other ideas and a snowstorm means that he is stranded and has been forced to seek shelter in a tiny village pub. The cute young barman looks like he could be a good distraction during his stay. Gabriel York believes that home is where the heart is and he has no intention of living anywhere else. His future is to settle down there with someone steadfast to build a future with. Felix is intriguing but he is a city boy and will go back when the snow clears.

I enjoyed this sweet Christmas story with the way it was around the two men but was also all about the community there, the traditions and the way that everything was intertwined. Felix and Gabriel were definitely opposites in many ways but they also worked together very well. I did find the friendliness of the villagers a nice touch although having lived somewhere like this the locals were really not that friendly. Easy to read, feel and understand. Review: Dante's Discipline by Brina Brady 4 of 5 stars

Dante's Discipline (Buried Secrets, #3)

Dante's Discipline by Brina Brady
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Twenty-four-year-old gang member Dante Medina committed unforgivable offences by being gay and sleeping with a different gang member. His father sent his two older brothers to his aunt's house in Santa Monica but that was not as helpful as it appeared. Ex-army officer, protector and Dom James chose to protect Dante who is warned to never break the rules and to accept James's decisions at all times or his punishment will be harsh. Dante happily accepted the rules and consequences of the Gay Protection Society conditions. Unfortunately, no amount of protection can alter the gang’s determination to take Dante down for good.

I enjoyed this story with the strange organisation that protected gay men from danger by gangs or criminal organisations and their rules. Dante was definitely a free spirit and it took a while for him to settle down with the restrictions but I liked the way that the relationship between Dante and James started from the physical but developed into something far more emotional and deeper. I loved the way that the story ended and the happiness that they both shared. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content in a BSDM-like D/s relationship.

Tybolt Martin has been an ESA for 10 years but when he finds his incoherent omega client in distress he needs to act. Then it becomes clear that it is not who he thought it was. But Winslow Grant is everything he didn't know that he was missing. Winslow was trying to keep the shambles of his life together by keeping a roof over his brother and himself but the arrival of his first-ever heat completely knocks the stuffing out of him. Ty is his hero, his champion and his alpha…but how can he ever be anything but an albatross around his neck?

This was an ok story but a bit of a disappointment after the previous story in the series. I found Winslow to be very tiresome with the way he put his brother above his alpha which was very wrong and his obsession with his inferiority was definitely wearing. Easy to read and understand although I don't think I got the feeling very well considering my annoyance at Winslow. This is an MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like D/s relationship set in the omegaverse.

But he can't share what he is and wants with just anyone but when Austin drags him to a private BSDM club he has a decision to make - continue to hide or take a chance and hope he can find love. Jarrett knows that his fated mate is out there but that doesn't help the alpha Daddy who is never what most omegas are looking for. When a shy submissive is thrust into his arms during an altercation at the club he knows that things have turned around but he needs to convince the small, bashful alpha that he is worthy of his trust. Sometimes secrets can drive people apart, but sometimes sharing those secrets is what can bring them together.

I really enjoyed this story with shy Gideon being so brave and taking a chance for happiness with a little help and interference from Austin. Jarrett was the right mixture of gentle and encouraging as well as fierce and strong. I loved the gentle way that their relationship started and developed as they got to know each other. It was great to see how easy it was for Gideon to slip into his little so that he could destress after his work day. Easy to read, feel and understand it was great to be able to really empathise with the characters and their emotions, hopes and dreams. This is an MM story containing mature content in a BSDM-like DDLB-like dynamic set in the omegaverse with some ABDL (diapers).

Problems: MMMM Mafia Romance

Problems: MMMM Mafia Romance by Brea Alepoú by Skyler Snow
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jack O'Brien is off-limits to Finnian, Ronan and Cian as they all work for his father and are pledged to protect him. But they want him - all three of them. Caring Ronan denies it, wild Cian taunts him and Finnian is the disciplinarian. They will work together to protect their boy and slaughter anyone who stands in their way.

I enjoyed the story of Jack being sent away for his safety, his sassy attitude and how hard the three men fought their need to claim him, but in the end, they had to just go for the inevitable. I loved the way that Jack thrived under their care and tutoring and that put him in a much better place when everything counted. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MMMM story with mature content and a form of BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Have Mercy on Me by Aria Grace 3 of 5 stars

Have Mercy on Me (Blue Collar Daddies in the City)

Have Mercy on Me by Aria Grace
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Jason loves walking dogs and so when he sees an empty garden centre he gets the idea that with Jesse they could set up their doggy daycare business there. Tony owns a small medical clinic downtown that caters to professionals needing flu shots or the uninsured with no other options. So when Harris calls in a favour for a boy with a cut that he has been ignoring for too long he treats him and even though he is sassy with a smart mouth Tony can tell he just needs the care of a Daddy. Their attraction is instant between them but it takes a little longer for them to accept what is right in front of them.

I enjoyed this story with Jesse and Jason having some business success and Tony and Jason starting a relationship which goes far too slow for Jason but is actually at the right speed for them both. Tony was a caring man with a heart in the right place but just a little too protective sometimes although he did his best to just support and encourage. I liked that Tony could handle Jason's sassy attitude. Easy to read and understand. This is a MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Wait in the Truck (Blue Collar Daddies in the City #1)

Wait in the Truck by Aria Grace
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Harris travels for fourteen hours during a storm to collect a dog in need of a home when on the way home he passes a bus stop with a person who doesn't look alive. When Jesse left the trailer in the dead of the night he had no plan apart from getting away and not dying at the hands of his partner. After an hour of walking, he curls up at a bus stop waiting for peace to finally find him. He wakes up after Harris picks him up and loads him into the cab of a warm truck.

This was a sweet story of the abused boy and the daddy who was patient with him and made sure that he was safe, cared for, healed and comfortable with life before entering into the kind f relationship he was desperate to have with him. Harris was a really kind and sweet man who had so much self-control even though he was quick to sort things out when the time was right. Easy to read, feel and understand I loved the way that Luna knew that Jesse needed comfort and was determined to do that. This is an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB relationship.

Be Mine, Cruel Valentines by Brea Alepoú
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Ramsey is older but was bullied through high school by three friends called Theon, Foxyn and Leyton. But at some point, the pain turned into pleasure and now he is determined to make them his and not share them with anyone else.

This was a dark story about the bullied older guy who as he finished maturing realised that the pain was actually pleasure. It has to be said that the three friends were particularly inventive and devious with their torment of Ramsey and that transformed when they realised it gave him pleasure. Easy to read, feel and understand this is an MMMM story with mature content.

White Noise (Caffeine Daydreams #1)

White Noise by Lark Taylor
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ollie's day started badly when he caught his best friend and his girlfriend in bed having sex and then he is rushing to make an interview for his dream job and got stuck in a broken lift with another person - Luca Weston, lead singer of the world-famous rock band, Caffeine Daydreams. After their rescue, he can't stop thinking about Luca and obsessing about a male rockstar. When he still gets the job and then is assigned as the journalist following the group on their tour he finds it hard to resist Luca and stay professional. Luca is amazed at Ollie as he has him opening up in ways he never thought possible and does not give away anything they discussed even if it would have been to his own advantage. Now they are out Luca also wonders if he missed his chance with the man of his dreams. With the six-week tour, he has time to work out if it is all real and whether he should turn his entire life upside down to keep him.

I enjoyed this story with the different levels of story around their relationship and the group members in general. I thought this was a good start to the series and am definitely intending to read the next one to see where it goes. This was easy to read, feel and understand. It is an MM story with mature content some of which is of a bi-awakening.

Review: How to Train Your Alpha by M.M. Farmer 4 of 5 stars

How to Train Your Alpha (Bangers & Mash #1)

How to Train Your Alpha by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Alpha Jesse Armstrong wasn't looking forward to wasting a weekend at Bangers & Mash observing Emergency Support Alpha training when he had zero interest in becoming one. When Omega Phillip Mash walked into take the class Jesse's alpha senses went nuts. Phillip had time before his heat started to teach the class but when Jesse walks through the door it started his heat off. When they get stuck nature takes over and Phillip turns into a pile of slick he has no choice but to give Jesse a crash course in taking an omega through heat although it is not going to be easy as he is out of his mind with need.

I enjoyed this story with their reactions to each other, Phillip's denial even though he is the teacher and how his parents had to point it all out to him. I was fascinated to hear all of the bits of detail around the process from the training course and the training that Phillip had to give to Jesse. It was easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with lots of mature content. This is set in the Omegaverse where mpreg is possible although not in this story.

Review: Be Mine, Heartless Valentine by Ashlynn Mills 3 of 5 stars

Be Mine, Heartless Valentine (Corrupt Cupid #4)

Be Mine, Heartless Valentine by Ashlynn Mills
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Every Friday Ezra drives a truck to a warehouse, collects product and delivers it to his given address. It stays locked at all times and he knows not to look inside no matter what. Paxton was with his boyfriend when he was abducted and trafficked. Then one Friday Ezra is stranded in the middle of nowhere and something calls his attention to the back of the truck - when he cuts the lock he finds a frightened Paxton and his resolve to follow the rules even if it means his family's safety is shot to hell. Is Paxton really worth the risk and can Ezra keep them safe from the men who will be after them?

I found this a difficult story to follow with the identity issues, the uncertainty and the loose way they were in a relationship (or were they?). I did enjoy the story about the abduction, the discovery and the sanctuary but I did get confused. I also found the ending a little rushed too. I've enjoyed the previous three books in this series but just did not feel it for this one. This is an MM story with some mature content.

Review: The Wrangler and the Orphan by Jackie North 4 of 5 stars

The Wrangler and the Orphan (Farthingdale Ranch #4)

The Wrangler and the Orphan by Jackie North
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Quint saved Brody from Daddy Frank and he is now the wrangler at Farthinhgdale Ranch and only really understands horses, not people. Then he has a chance to save Kit from a fate similar to his own and so provides him shelter and protection. In Kit, Brody sees the scared young man he used to be. In caring for Kit, Brody is in over his head. But as Brody makes room in his heart for Kit, both their lives begin to change.

I enjoyed this story where their backgrounds had so many similarities and how Brody had to treat Kit just like a skittish horse and keep him calm while encouraging him to make progress. I enjoyed the way that their relationship slowly morphed into something different and that over time they developed love even though life was not always so happy and perfect. Easy to read, feel and understand this was definitely heartbreaking at times. This is an MM story with some mature content.

Blind Match

Blind Match by M.M. Farmer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

They went through the Perfect Match Agency and have matched almost 94% and so when Luke decides to concentrate on finding a mate and not the family's yacht business he is thrilled to meet his match omega Emerson Carter and instantly knew he was the only man for him. But there is a surprise that was not listed on his profile. As soon as Luke touches Emerson he goes into heat and so they go onto the ocean as their first date. But then they are caught in a storm at sea and end up with a little more adventure than they bargained for. Can they prevent the other forces from tearing them apart when they land?

I enjoyed this story which was carefully told making sure that it accurately reflected life for a well-adjusted blind person. I enjoyed the gentle (and sometimes unsubtle) ways that stereotypes were tackled and rebuffed. Emerson was fearless and that made him the perfect omega for his alpha. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content in an omegaverse setting with a form of instalove and mpreg.

A Little's Unicorn: A Stuffie Hospital Romance (#1)

A Little's Unicorn: A Stuffie Hospital Romance by Ellie Rose
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

Lillie Cooper works at the Stuffie Hospital restoring well-loved stuffies back to their former glory which is a perfect job for a Little in hiding to do. Journalist Aiden Havers does an interview with the team for the local paper and he notices that Little lights up when talking about her patients but has no stuffie of her own.

This was a sweet little novella. I appreciated the story of how Lillie and Aiden became a couple but I missed how she received an actual stuffie from Aiden. I enjoyed the way that Ralph was so protective of her. Easy to read with just a little mature content.

Be Mine, Bloody Valentine (Corrupt Cupid #3)

Be Mine, Bloody Valentine by Skyler Snow
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Bailey finds his step-brother Alec after he abandoned him to stay living with this monster or a father. As Alex has reinvented himself and is a psychology professor Bailey intends to ruin him to pay him back for everything he has gone through. But looking at him, all he sees in Alex's eyes is love and desire. How far will these two go to move past the events in their history?

This was very dark and a little suspension of belief is needed at times, but they did seem to be happy together in the end. Their way of living at the end was a surprise as I had hoped they would move on from it. There is a lot of violence in this story which matches the story but is a little shocking at times. Easy to read and understand. This is an MM story with mature content.

Review: Be Mine, Vicious Valentine by April Jade 4 of 5 stars

Be Mine, Vicious Valentine (Corrupt Cupid #2)

Be Mine, Vicious Valentine by April Jade
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Given the nickname Vicious, Sebastian St. James is actually timid, hiding his face and not speaking. He had found and probably seen his best and only friend murdered and it was Roman's job as the school counsellor to find out what he was hiding. But Roman just wanted to protect him and hold him close. If anyone thought that Sebastian was the one to be feared then they had never met Roman.

I enjoyed this story which was a large part a mystery with a twisted love story in the middle of it. There were some aspects that were obvious and some that were surprises. The main thing is that Roman was there and was determined to work out why Sebastian was the way he was and who was responsible. There was a lot of darkness around the school and it was definitely a surprise at the end as to who was sorting it all out. Easy to read, feel and understand you will find yourself dying to know who was behind it all. This is an MM story with mature content around a high-level BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Be Mine, Twisted Valentine (Corrupt Cupid #1)

Be Mine, Twisted Valentine by Gianni Holmes
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Fifteen years ago Teddy helped to put his abductor behind bars and was using a hypnotherapist to put the memories behind a closed box. But now sadist Duncan Whittaker is out on parole and it has all rushed back into his life. So he goes to confront him intending to kill him but he realises that Duncan was the only man to make him feel desire after isolating him to be grateful for his presence and once again he is about to ruin Teddy's life and he can do nothing to stop him because he doesn't want to.

I loved this story which was so dark but so addictive. I loved the way that what started with pure revenge had morphed into something else which was a twisted form of love and dependence. I loved the twists in Teddy's life while Duncan was serving the 15 years and how it all came down like a pack of cards when he came out. It was easy to read, feel and understand this and I was completely addicted to the story (and by the end just needed Duncan and Teddy to be together). This is an MM story with mature content. This was a great value-for-money collection of stories that were all capable of making you smile and sigh with their happily ever after. All contain mature content.

This was a sweet story of a cookie-loving Little who had to help educate his Daddy on how to look after him.

Review: Inked Forever by Dale Mayer 5 of 5 stars

Inked Forever (Psychic Visions #23)

Inked Forever by Dale Mayer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Tasmin's business is not to everyone's taste and that includes her family too. But for a grieving family, it can be everything as it has grown over time thanks to word of mouth. Then one morning a detective walks in about one of the pieces she was working on which was stolen overnight and showed up in a public space and so starts a series of events that suggests that someone is out to destroy her business. Detective Hanson MacGyver is not sure what to make of Tasmin who isn't just a licenced mortician but works to preserve tattoos for grieving family and friends and it is now apparent that someone hates what she is doing … or hates the owners of the tattoos. Something’s off about the whole mess. And that’s just on the surface. When both Tasmin and Hanson dig deeper, a whole lot more is going on underneath. And none of it is normal or nice …

I loved this story with the very usual associated job that Tasmin did (much to her family's disquiet) and the power plays within the family, the drive-by shootings that involved people with tattoos, the spirits (friendly and non-friendly) and the issues that Hanson had within the office. Everything combined together to confuse us all as to who was responsible and why. It was only right at the end that we really knew who was responsible and why. Easy to read, feel and understand it was easy to be invested in the story and find a solution so they could have a chance at a relationship. Easy to read, feel and understand.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Need Me by T.H. Compton
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Orion has a simple life on his farm but it is not enough anymore as he needs to find himself a boy to make him happy. He finds Liam online but is he ready for Orion's brand of love? Liam has had enough tough love but is taking a risk to find what he has always wanted but when he meets farmer Orion online it feels like he has met his dream Daddy. Can the Bears-4-U app and a leap of faith give these two a shot at true love?

This was a nice story which was sweet but it was a bit too instalove with not enough of their thoughts and emotions to give me a deeper understanding of the characters. I did like that Orion gave Liam work to do during his stay so that he was not sat at home alone while he worked and I think that he would have fit into the family nicely. Easy to understand. This was an MM story with a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.

Review: Pick Us, Daddy by T.L. Travis 4 of 5 stars

Pick Us, Daddy

Pick Us, Daddy by T.L. Travis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kitten Riya Cox and Pup Stefan Pierce’s friendship started when Stefan stepped in when a would-be handler tried to force Riya into something he didn't want to do. They were best friends and loved each other deeply but knew that they needed someone else to be the perfect Daddy for them both he just hadn't been found yet. Daddy Jonovan Duarte was tired of boys pretending to be what they weren't just to con their wealthy Daddies. All he wanted was someone who would not max out his credit cards and then leave him alone but was starting to think that there was no one out there for him.

In many ways, this was a heartbreaking story of an instance of historic abuse, hope for the future and finally moving on to a happy future. But it was also about the power of love and what can happen if you let it in and with the right person (or people in this case) everything can be happy again. I loved the way that the BDSM community came together when they knew the true story in order to ban the perpetrator (it is just a great shame that they didn't look deeper into the matter in the first case). Easy to read, feel and understand this story will play on your heartstrings. This is an MMM story with a BDSM-like DDLB relationship including pet play.

Forgiven (Heaven and Hell Club, #3)

Forgiven by Colette Davison
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Straight ex-con Callum has a homophobic father and is in dire need of a fresh start when he lands a job as a barman in a gay nightclub. He is therefore shocked when one of the dancers playfully flirts with him and that opens cravings he never knew he had. Dylan hides his loneliness behind his tattoos, piercings and serial hookups. He is desperate for love as his childhood was full of being shunted around foster families. But then he falls for the club's sexually confused barman and he fears he is now dangerously vulnerable. With a new bisexual identity, Callum is sure sharing the news will tear down everything he's ever cared about. Can the troubled couple put others’ judgment in its proper place and embrace their true desires?

I loved this story which was all about love, hate and how it can be found in the most unexpected places. I loved Dylan and just wanted to hug him at times but he was so calm, accepting and patient with Callum that you could love him just for that. Calumn's family were incredibly homophobic and he was so brave to tell them about himself even if they threw hate back at them. I loved the way the author was able to describe the thoughts and emotions of the characters in a way that I could feel them myself. This was an MM story with plenty of mature content.

Forgotten (Heaven and Hell Club #2)

Forgotten by Colette Davison
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Jared had a devastating car accident which has left him with memory loss and brain damage and has no idea who he is or what he wants, he doesn't even recognise his own family. Having moved to Leeds and is working as an apprentice in a tattoo parlour. He has a one-night stand with pole dancer and stripper Kyrone but they continue to meet after that. Kyrone is cracking until the weight of the promise he made to his father just before he died and is struggling to finish the degree he loathes. Despite crippling migraines and his own missing identity, Jared urges Kyrone to embrace his true self. Have two wounded souls met their perfect match to take them into their forever?

I loved this story with the two damaged souls - one through physical injury and the other through a promise to a dying man. I loved the way they were both able to support each other and the caring that was central to that support. I loved the adult way that a misunderstanding was handled and that was centred around someone at the club. A True Fit (Finding My Forever #4)

A True Fit by Michele Notaro
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Trent works as a photographer and has no intention of screwing up his life but every time he sees his boss's ex Declan he is more intrigued by him, especially as he is actually a really nice guy. Declan can see everyone around him settling down and being happy and so when Trent gives him the chance to be his friend he knows he can't screw it up and keep him strictly in the friend zone. While both Trent and Declan can feel the pull of the attraction between them they are determined not to damage their friendship. Will they be able to take a chance and let their friendship grow into something more?

I loved this story of the developing close friendship between the two men, their determination to not make life complicated and their eventual fall into something that was inevitable. I loved the complication of their brothers and how they did their best to support each other whenever that was needed. Declan was a really nice guy and I loved what he did for Matty and how he refused to take credit for it as was just determined to keep his secret even if everyone thought the worse of him. Easy to read, feel and understand this was far more like a love story instead of a lust story (even though they definitely lusted after each other too!). I loved the ending. This was an MM story with mature content.
