Jason loves walking dogs and so when he sees an empty garden centre he gets the idea that with Jesse they could set up their doggy daycare business there. Tony owns a small medical clinic downtown that caters to professionals needing flu shots or the uninsured with no other options. So when Harris calls in a favour for a boy with a cut that he has been ignoring for too long he treats him and even though he is sassy with a smart mouth Tony can tell he just needs the care of a Daddy. Their attraction is instant between them but it takes a little longer for them to accept what is right in front of them.
I enjoyed this story with Jesse and Jason having some business success and Tony and Jason starting a relationship which goes far too slow for Jason but is actually at the right speed for them both. Tony was a caring man with a heart in the right place but just a little too protective sometimes although he did his best to just support and encourage. I liked that Tony could handle Jason's sassy attitude. Easy to read and understand. This is a MM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB relationship.
