Review: Alpha's Embrace by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Alpha's Embrace (The Omega Misfits, #3)

Alpha's Embrace by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Misha is a Sylph (the product of an illegal Omega-to-Omega mating and is in a ten-by-ten room a bit like a prison cell. 99.9% of sylphs are born insane and Misha is rare because he is past puberty and is able to control his hypersexuality. The man in the next-door cell is called Cedric and has problems but can be calmed if Misha reads to him. Then one day a handsome Alpha called Geo who is the new Chief of Staff comes to interview and study him. Misha tries flirting with him but he is careful to avoid touching him because a mating between an Alpha and a Sylph is forbidden. Misha dreams of bonding Geo to him and making him his forever.

I enjoyed this story of a Sylph which is missing from many books and series that are set in the Omegaverse. I loved the pull between Geo and Misha and the extent he went to in order to say him and give them a future together. Certainly, Misha was proof that not all sylphs are mad and need to be kept away from everyone else. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and was set in the Omegaverse.
