Review: Little Baby Boy by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Little Baby Boy

Little Baby Boy by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sage and Preston are two men who know they want something deeper than casual connections, even if they’re not sure what that looks like yet. Sage dreams of a partner who’s his alone, not the non‑exclusive relationships he’s tried before. Preston, dragged to a club he’s long outgrown, realises he wants more than fleeting encounters too. When they see each other, something clicks — a spark that hints they might have finally found what they’ve both been missing.

Both Sage and Preston want something lasting, and the moment they meet it becomes clear they’re exactly what the other has been searching for. I loved how naturally Preston understood Sage’s needs — almost entirely on instinct — which only highlighted how perfectly they fit together. The story is easy to read and follow, with plenty of warmth as their connection deepens. However, some of the conflicts they faced felt a bit manufactured, which did take away from my overall enjoyment. Still, their chemistry and desire for a real, committed relationship made this a sweet and satisfying read. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon

Omega Captive of the Wrong Dragon by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kirion is a “set omega,” unable to shift and stripped of all rights, sold off despite once being a wolf‑pack prince. At a private auction, dragon shifter Tane intends to buy an omega for his troubled son — but instead finds himself drawn to Kirion. As their connection grows, Tane must confront his ethics and his strained family ties, while Kirion begins to hope he’s finally found where he belongs.

This story is packed with emotion, and the pull between Kirion and Tane is unmistakable from the moment their paths cross. Both men carry their own emotional torment — Kirion from a lifetime of being treated as property because he can’t shift, and Tane from the complicated guilt and grief tied to his own family. That shared pain gives their connection a depth that’s hard to ignore. While I enjoyed the romance and the intensity of their bond, the constant focus on whether true consent was possible for someone who’d been purchased did start to feel repetitive and slowed the pacing in the middle. Even so, the emotional weight of their journey kept me invested. I was surprised by how easily Tane seemed able to move on from his first son, Malin, especially considering how much of Malin’s behaviour stemmed from Tane not getting him the help he needed after losing his Papa. It added a bittersweet edge to Tane’s growth. Despite that, the story delivers a well‑earned happy ending for both men. Their feelings are vivid, the emotions run high, and their connection shines through the darker moments. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: The Forecast Looks Like Reindeer by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

The Forecast Looks Like Reindeer: Double-Booked for the Holidays

The Forecast Looks Like Reindeer: Double-Booked for the Holidays by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Aspen, a reindeer‑shifter omega escaping his family’s holiday pressure — and preparing for an upcoming heat — books a quiet Christmas getaway at a luxury winter resort. Dale, a human alpha craving solitude after a stressful year, books the same place for his annual peaceful retreat. When the resort accidentally overbooks, the two strangers are forced to share a room. Neither wants to give up their hard‑earned vacation, and what begins as an inconvenient mix‑up quickly becomes a cozy, snow‑dusted setup for unexpected connection.

This was an utterly charming, snow‑dusted romance built on an instant connection and unexpected companionship. Aspen and Dale may have been thrown together by a booking mistake, but the way they adapted — with warmth, patience, and a surprising amount of chemistry — made their story irresistible. What began as an inconvenience quickly turned into something tender as they navigated shared space, shared comforts, and the growing awareness that they actually fit together beautifully. Both men made the best of their situation, turning a disrupted holiday into a cosy, intimate escape neither of them knew they needed. This was an MM story with mature content set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: My Christmas Reindeer by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

My Christmas Reindeer: An M/M Mpreg Holiday Shifter Romance.

My Christmas Reindeer: An M/M Mpreg Holiday Shifter Romance. by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

At the North Pole, Alpha elf Keir runs Santa’s Sleigh Ground Control — a high‑pressure job that requires absolute precision to navigate the spacetime continuum for Christmas Eve. He has no time for mistakes… or distractions. Fallon, an omega reindeer shifter who can’t fly due to his traumatic beginnings, has spent his life working hard among the elves who raised him. Brilliant with math and science, he dreams of joining Keir’s elite team. Impressing the no‑nonsense alpha is his biggest challenge — until an unexpected heat and a powerful attraction throw everything off course. As a dangerous storm threatens the continuum and Christmas itself, Keir and Fallon must work together to save the holiday. But amid the chaos, their growing bond becomes impossible to ignore. Can a grounded reindeer shifter and Santa’s most serious elf find love while saving Christmas?

This was a charming North Pole romance that blends holiday magic with omegaverse warmth in the best way. Fallon is an endearing omega reindeer shifter whose resilience and brilliance make him impossible not to love, and watching him chase his dream of joining Santa’s ground control team is genuinely uplifting. Keir, the stoic alpha elf who takes everything seriously — especially Christmas — is the perfect counterbalance. Their chemistry is sweet, awkward, and full of that delicious “I shouldn’t want you, but I do” tension. Add in an unexpected heat, a storm threatening the spacetime continuum, and the pressure of saving Christmas, and the story becomes a delightful mix of high stakes and soft emotions. If you enjoy festive MM romances with shifters, omegaverse dynamics with mature content and MPREG, gentle yearning, and a guaranteed happily ever after, this one is a cosy holiday treat.

Review: A Little Christmas: Rivi by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

A Little Christmas: Rivi

A Little Christmas: Rivi by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Rivi, a shy and self-conscious little, has long yearned for a nurturing connection but never dared to seek it—until a surprising discovery about his uncle Trent’s kink-friendly Christmas gathering offers a glimmer of possibility. Determined to attend, Rivi sees the holiday as a chance to finally find the daddy he's been dreaming of. Briar, a seasoned dom and daddy, feels emotionally adrift despite his experience. Burned out and uninspired, he accepts Trent’s invitation to the estate, hoping for a change. What he doesn’t expect is Rivi—a gentle soul who reignites something powerful within him. Set against the backdrop of a cozy, kink-positive Christmas retreat, their meeting sparks a transformative journey of trust, desire, and emotional renewal. It’s a story of second chances, self-acceptance, and the magic of finding someone who sees—and cherishes—you completely.

I really enjoyed this story where Rivi’s journey begins with deep insecurity—his quiet nature, appearance, and fear of rejection have kept him from embracing his identity as a little. The story explores how self-acceptance is a courageous act, especially when it means stepping into spaces where one feels exposed. His decision to attend the party is a turning point, symbolizing his readiness to be seen and valued. The dom/little dynamic is portrayed not as control, but as care. The story emphasised that power exchange, when rooted in trust and mutual respect, can be profoundly nurturing. Briar’s protective instincts and Rivi’s yearning for guidance create a bond that’s emotionally rich and deeply affirming. Easy to feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Omega Captive of the Golden Dragon by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Omega Captive of the Golden Dragon

Omega Captive of the Golden Dragon by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Caylen is a wolf shifter without a beast—unable to shift, unscented, and stripped of all rights. As a set-omega, he’s cast out and sold to the dragons, who desperately seek breeders to preserve their dwindling population. Caylen’s future is no longer his own. On the auction block, fear simmers beneath his calm exterior. Then someone bids for him with pure gold—an act that stuns the crowd and seals his fate. Who is this mysterious buyer, and what does such a rare gesture mean? Caylen is about to find out that being chosen is only the beginning.

I loved this story with two men who were damaged in their own way but were drawn together and found acceptance and peace in each other. I loved that Lev loved his brother so much that he found him and then after giving him almost everything that he needed surpassed himself by finding him Caylen.  Varik had suffered so much but Caylen was perfect for him and was able to teach him that he was capable of joy and happiness. This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Review: Omega Secret by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Omega Secret

Omega Secret by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Cambry and Angell, two Omegas raised at Zilly’s Chattel Farm, have shared a secret, forbidden love since their youth. When Cambry is selected to serve as mating chattel, their bond is tested—especially when a spontaneous and unbreakable bond forms between Cambry and Niro, a gentle yet emotionally closed-off Alpha. Though Niro never expected to feel love, Cambry changes everything. Angell, mute and conditioned to believe he’s unwanted, steps back out of love—but Cambry refuses to let their connection be erased. The possibility of Niro courting both Omegas sparks a daring question: can love exist beyond the rules of their world, and what if this unconventional triad is the key to something more?

This story was a bittersweet collision of devotion, autonomy, and a quiet rebellion against a brutal system. I enjoyed reading it but found at times it became farcical which was a shame. I found it hard to believe that two people who were intelligent enough to hide their relationship were so clueless about other things. Easy to read and understand.  This was an MM story with mature content and set in the omegaverse with MPREG.

Lyric by Wendy Rathbone

Lyric, a famous alpha athlete and dragon shifter racer, encounters Jinn, a rare omega dragon shifter, who is being stalked by an alpha. During a break from racing, Lyric finds Jinn fleeing from a feral dragon in the woods and fights to protect him. Their powerful and unexpected bond leads them to question if their feelings are genuine, as they navigate their intense connection and the challenges they face.

This was a sweet story as Lyric saved and protected Jinn from his abusive stalker. I loved their relationship and that they were perfect for each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and MPREG.

Review: A Daddy for Christmas 2: Kiren by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

A Daddy for Christmas 2: Kiren

A Daddy for Christmas 2: Kiren by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

After an accident that leaves deep scars on Kiren’s back and side, not to mention his psyche, Kiren decides not to go back to college and instead goes to work at his parents’ corporation at a job he hates. On top of it all, he’s very sensitive about his body now, and refuses to date. It’s better to be alone, he tells himself. Because he also has a secret no one knows about. He is a little. Kiren lost his dream, lost his perfect body, and hates his job. And now he’s just discovered his parents are going to the Bahamas for Christmas for their anniversary, and he’s not invited. Could it get any worse? To top it off, the dusky, tall and silver-sideburned boss of accounting, Max, bought him one drink at a holiday celebration just before Thanksgiving, and now Max haunts his thoughts. It isn’t only that Max is handsome and popular at the office, or that he exudes charisma and daddy vibes. It’s also that the drink was exactly Kiren’s favourite right down to the cherry on top. How did Max know? Is it Max who is leaving sweet little gifts on Kiren’s desk when he isn’t looking? One candy cane, a tiny toy truck, and a gumball machine whistle to name a few. A burn starts inside him that he hasn’t felt in a long time. His body wants Max. But will his mind follow? And what if Max is disgusted when he discovers Kiren’s flaws and secrets?

This was a sweet story with a sweet little who was damaged due to an accident and a caring Daddy who was able to look past the scars. I loved the little presents on Kirem's desk that Max left for him. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.

Review: Naughty Elf: Sugar by Wendy Rathbone 3 of 5 stars

Naughty Elf: Sugar

Naughty Elf: Sugar by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When Sugar was born and dumped unwanted at the door of Santa Christero, who immediately adopts him. Being raised by a Santa from the revered consortium of Santas sounds like an omega elf’s dream come true, and while he loves him a lot, his father, Christero, is one of the busiest of all the Santas and spends very little time at home. Sno, his housekeeper, is the one who raises Sugar. He is wonderful, but old, and so Sugar's spoiled and lazy behind gets away with a lot of mischief. After a serious mistake in the factory his father is so furious he conjures a spell that turns him into an elf figurine. His final instructions before being boxed up and mailed to some unknown destination are: Find yourself. Find love. Find your mate. You have until Christmas or you will become an elf figurine forever. He has only eight weeks and no idea how to make that happen.

This was a sweet story of how a spoilt elf found his mate and the future that his father wanted for him. I loved Sno who was a sweetheart. There were a lot of feelings and emotions but many were annoying as Sugar was so spoiled and selfish. Grant, the reindeer shifter who found him was so caring and protective. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and MPREG.

Review: Omega Captive of the Mean Old Dragon by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Omega Captive of the Mean Old Dragon

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Akai is a set-omega, which means he has no inner beast and cannot shift. Considered worthless by his wolf pack, and with no individual rights, he is sold into slavery along with other set-omegas as they come of age. He is purchased in a flurry of paperwork by Danon, a man with a white beard so thick and bristly, he looks like some sort of old craggy beast. But things aren’t as they seem. Despite his fears, Akai is strangely drawn to Danon, who is standoffish but still polite, and in only a few days he finds himself entering his first heat.

I enjoyed this story with feisty Akai and Danon who was not as miserable and mean as he appeared. There were a lot of emotions in this story as they sorted everything out. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and MPREG.

Omega Captive of the Alpha Dragon

Omega Captive of the Alpha Dragon by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Tavi is a set-omega, which means he has no inner beast and cannot shift.
Considered worthless by his wolf pack, and with no individual rights, he is sold into slavery along with other set-omegas as they come of age. Alluresh is a dragon shifter, all business and very little play. His inner dragon is feral and often controls him, shifting inappropriately at times, creating chaos and damage. Others fear him, causing Alluresh to become bitter and reclusive. All of that changes when a shady friend from his past invites him to an omega auction. Alluresh attends, only to discover his dragon has eyes for one of the omegas for sale, demanding he bid on him or else. What is Alluresh to do but obey his beast and call out a ridiculously large sum? Two outcast men learn they might have more in common than they think, and a feral dragon finds his inner heart.

I really enjoyed this story with the two men who had far more in common than they realised. I loved how out of control Alluresh's dragon was and yet he was putty in Tavi's hands. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and MPREG.

A Daddy for Maddy

A Daddy for Maddy by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Maddy got caught by his roommate while in an embarrassing pose and acting like a baby. He already knew and said littles are popular in his link club and insisted that Maddy went with him the next night. The first man he saw there is a handsome bouncer who gave him a menacing look. Later that night, Mr. Menacing re-enters Maddy's life in a way that has him all but begging for him to be his first-ever daddy.

Review: Little Boy Toy: A Little Big Heart Daddy MM Romance by Wendy Rathbone 4 of 5 stars

Little Boy Toy: A Little Big Heart Daddy MM Romance

Little Boy Toy: A Little Big Heart Daddy MM Romance by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Little Kendry is tired of Daddies who leer at him and only want a hookup. So he goes to the kink club to take advantage of the social life but avoids dating and wants to sit in the corner and read a book while still having juice and snacks and seeing other littles. Then a man talks into the playroom and looks out of place. He sits by Kendry and looks so lonely that Kendry starts to read his book to him. Zale is not a Daddy and has never ventured into the playroom before. He's tired and needs a break as his usual kinks aren’t doing anything for him. He doesn't want hookups as he's ready to settle down wanting someone just for himself. He thinks the little's playroom is a place to sit and watch the pretty boys play. The sweet little in-the-corner reading is a safe place to sit and reassess his priorities.

This was so sweet as both men were disillusioned with what they had been experiencing in life around their own kinks and so had no expectations when they met. I loved that Kendry read to Zane and that it gave them both some space and time to relax and build a friendship with no expectations of anything physical between them. They definitely built a friendship and relationship before going too far with the physical side of things which I preferred. Easy to read, feel and understand there were a lot of emotions and feelings in its story. This was an MM story with a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.

Love at Frost Bite: Jingle (Mated to His Reindeer)

Love at Frost Bite: Jingle by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Alpha Jingle is the instructor at a magical version of a top gun flight school in the North Pole for reindeer shifters who can fly. His students are the best and brightest and all want jobs pulling one of dozens of the Santa Collective’s sleighs on Christmas Eve. December, who prefers to be called Ember, is an omega with a keen mind for math and a flight talent. But he’s one of the youngest students ever and is nervous and klutzy. His youthful enthusiasm could be his undoing. Soon the two realize something is happening between them that is more than teacher/student. Perhaps a bit of Arctic mysticism. Perhaps a little Christmas magic. Annoyance turns to attraction.

This was a sweet story of how two fated mates met each other at the flight school for reindeer who pulled Santa's sleigh. I loved the love and affection between the two and how protective Jingle was of Ember. Easy to read, feel and understand. Omega Island: Senta's Heat by Wendy Rathbone
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Senta is the omega billionaire owner of Omega Island and has not had a heat for two years because even though he is in his thirties he went through the change early in life. Then one night he has intense pre-heat symptoms that hit him and he vows to go through it alone. Then he meets Raimi who is a younger alpha that he has allowed to come so he can heal after being in a two-year abusive alpha/alpha relationship that denied him orgasms and knotting so he doubts he could ever be a true alpha ever again. They are both attracted to each other but before they can discuss it Senta goes into full heat.

I enjoyed this story with one abused alpha and an infertile omega who get past their loneliness together and find a love which rises above all of the problems that they are facing.
