Akai is a set-omega, which means he has no inner beast and cannot shift. Considered worthless by his wolf pack, and with no individual rights, he is sold into slavery along with other set-omegas as they come of age. He is purchased in a flurry of paperwork by Danon, a man with a white beard so thick and bristly, he looks like some sort of old craggy beast. But things aren’t as they seem. Despite his fears, Akai is strangely drawn to Danon, who is standoffish but still polite, and in only a few days he finds himself entering his first heat.
I enjoyed this story with feisty Akai and Danon who was not as miserable and mean as he appeared. There were a lot of emotions in this story as they sorted everything out. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and MPREG.
