Someone has been stalking twins, Carver and Casper. While Casper has decided to hide behind his new protector, Carver plans to fight. After weeks of cryptic notes and weird gifts, Carver has had enough. He’s not one to live in fear. Plus, nothing about the situation has felt threatening to him. The entire stalking thing is more of an annoyance. While his twin has chosen to accept a friend’s help for protection, Carver has his own means of staying safe. He’s crazy. Not much trumps pure insanity. It doesn’t take long for him to make the predator his prey. But sometimes things aren’t what they seem, especially when it comes to matters of the heart, and what Carver expects to be a horror for Halloween might just be a treat in disguise.
I loved this dark story as we look at the stalking story from Carter's point of view. I loved that two psycho people work so well together. There was discussions about their thoughts and feelings as well as their childhood. I loved the way that the story ended. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
