Wallace knows that nobody likes him. His family hates him. A young, upstart software engineer on his team has made him a laughing stock. When he gets an assignment to design software for sexbots, he meets a sexy sentient android who treats him like a princess and discovers more about himself than he ever realized. But is it all just a financial transaction, or is their relationship real? Volt knows the difference between a client and a boyfriend. But it’s getting awfully hard to remember when Wallace calls him Daddy. He knows Wallace has his flaws, but no one else has looked past his sexbot exterior to the person underneath. As mysterious threats to his chosen family escalate, Volt has to decide if he wants to risk his heart and take the leap toward love.
This was the story of how Wallace met Volt and learnt a lot of things about himself. I think Wallace struggled with the nature of a SPARK android so I hope in the next book he works it out. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like Daddy/boy dynamic.
